These are basic rpg maker resources. You just need to learn how to use rpg maker first, and you'll know how to use them.
  3. While I've recently learned a lot about RMMV, I'm still fairly new. To use these tall sprites, do I need to resize them in photoshop? The nude templates don't line up correctly in RMMV. Also, to complete them, do I need to do this in photoshop as well, or is there a way to do it like you normally would with them inside the generator? Thanks!

If you want to use tall sprites. You have to make the clothes and stuff in Photoshop or whatever imagine manipulation software your using. There is no way to use them with the normal generator as is.
  5. What are the dimensions necessary for these tall sprites to show up correctly?

It's usually 48*12 for width and 72*8 for height. If your doing a sheet full of walk sprites. Individuals can be used but the sheet would only be 48*3 and 72*4. If your sprites height is greater then adjust that accordingly. Don't forget to use the $ sign or ! Sign in front of file name if using single sheet sprites. I can't remember which is needed exactly so test .
  7. It's the $ sign. I learned this after hours of not being able to figure out why I couldn't line them up correctly because I thought it meant the $ was meant for a single sprite rather than a single sprite sheet lol. So do you mean the sprite dimensions don't matter as long as the $ sign is there and each box dimension is 48x72 or can the box dimensions be any size as long as they're all the same size? Thanks for your help.
  8. Any size as long as they all have the same size but you will encounter collision issues if with is greater then 48pix per sprite. With height the collision has an easier fix. Also you still have to place them in individual sheets n I don't mean the large one. Just enough to capture the 3 frames per sprite

  9. Awesome. You've been a lot of help. Thanks a lot.
  10. Seems like I'm late to the party (thanks @J-G for helping them out), but @CloudIX7 if you want a more in-depth explanation for what $ and ! do, you can check out this thread which explains it in detail. :)

You need to ensure that the sprite images are placed in the "characters" folder of your project (project>img>characters).

For the Hine villagers you don't need to do anything else, as the entire sheet is sized so you can just use them directly. For a single character sheet like the riding guard or one of the spear-wielding guards on his own, make sure you rename the file so that it has a "$" sign in front of it (ie. "$GuardRiding") - the "$" symbol tells the program to divide the total size of the image into 4 equal rows and 3 equal columns. It is typically used for single characters. In your characters folder you will notice the big monster sprite has that same $ in front of its name. That sheet is also divided into 4 rows of 3 columns, despite being different in size than your standard sprite sheet.

Understanding how "$" and "!" works in regards to sprite sheets allows you to do some interesting things. Like making unit sized formations of soldiers to add a bit more oompfh to your armies:

This image I named "$Army1", and it moves like a regular characters sprite sheet. Plop a few of those down next to one another and you've got yourself an actual force of soldiers on the march.

Hope that helps. If not, feel free to hit me up in pm or ask here again.

Late too, but I did write a bit about this in regards to hiddenone's sprite some time ago.

@CloudIX7 best of luck figuring out how everything goes together. It can be confusing at times, but fortunately this is a very helpful community, and you can oftentimes find someone willing to help you understand the mechanics.
  12. Thanks guys. I did actually read somewhere around the first 10-20 pages of this thread looking for the answer, so sorry if the question had already been answered. Though it would've taken me much longer to go through all 55 pages lol. Plus I'd already done that on Schlangan's thread figuring out how their generator works along with a few other threads figuring out how everything else works. Been studying hard lol. Which reminds me, is anyone familiar with this generator? I've been looking for icons to go with hiddenone's tall body sprites but can't find any. Also, I've been searching youtube for easier ways to put clothes on these assets through photoshop, but there don't seem to be many videos on how to make clothes fit larger sprites.

I'm not sure which window you're talking about, but I would say credit her to be on the safe side

The only thing HiddenOne indicates needs to be credited to Avery in addition to herself and the standard accreditation are the listed generator parts (See the red text below). So the answer is no... you want to follow Hidden's General ToS for the window graphics

Credit: hiddenone, Kadokawa, & Avery if you use the beastmen or accessory generator portrait pieces

  16. Schlangan was kind enough to make my pieces work with their generator! Grab Schlangan's generator version here!
    - Please keep their message in mind while using it: " Note that there is a wrong template priority in my generator for now; you need to decrease the Clothing1 priority for the Face templates by one level in order for the masked facesets to work. "

That link leads to an .rxge file. How do you open/use one?

  17. These are amazing! Thank you.
  18. Please, someone has this mask for faceset generator, I tried to recreate it but it was not good ... I am creating a horde of orcs in the MV. I thank whoever fixes me, I will put credits in the game and thanks.

No, I say what goes on the big face, on that type of face.
I downloaded the pack of orcs with accessories and clothes, but the mask is not included.
