Oh man, I can't wait for more "mundane" animals. There's loads of battlers for fantasy creatures, but few normal animals.

So I really want to see some lions and tigers and bears.

I’ve been looking forward to someone making a Fox battler! And you have done an incredible job on it!!

You could always do a jackalop like the rabbit with deer antlers! That could be a cool addition to the wildlife set.

And maybe Kirin? So you could do a deer and do a mythical Kirin as well?

Don’t know just throwing some ideas out there for you :) but they would be awesome additions :D

The foxes are so cute. but my fave got to be the green and black one. that just looks so very pretty

@RodsXP Psst, wyverns aren't real animals... But I love their design, so I'm sure at some point wyverns, wyrms, and dragons will make an appearance.
@MMMm Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! There's a good chance they'll all get their time to shine.
@maigmemple A jackalope would be fun to make, but I'm not sure how useful people would find a bunny battler. :rswt But a deer will show up at some point, and a kirin would be a nice mystical version for it.

ahaha yeah I guess a bunny battler would be silly but it could work for a low level fight like close to the start of someone’s game. I know I’d use it! I love all your sv battlers!
Even something like carbuncle would be cool! Haha I know I have lots and lots of ideas! But I’m still newish to this making recourses and you make some incredible recourses!

In my humble, newbie opinion... a bunny battler would be great for anyone who wanted to include a shoutout to Monty Python and the Holy Grail in their game.

As for animals people would like to see... Is it strange if I say that an otter would be great? And a mystical version could be the Irish Dobhar-chu, a giant otter with dog fangs and fish scales.

Love the fox <3 A question though @hiddenone is there matching regular sprites for the foxes somewhere or will you be making some? I had a quick look at some others and while they do have foxes the styles don't quite match up :/

@whattheNM I don't have any clothes for the tall sprites, since there just never seemed like a lot of interest in them (never seen them in any screenshots or any resource requests made for them, so I figured that idea was a bust).
@BlueVikingr ...How on earth did I forget about the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog?! Welp, now bunnies are definitely going on my to-do list. :guffaw: Your suggestion sounds otterly adorable.
@Mickychi I wasn't planning on making a fox sprite, since I know whtdragon's got some great ones in her animal thread. :)

If anyone's noticed, the fox is pretty much the same size as my old wolf battler so at some point I'll need to remake the wolf to be larger and tougher looking... Though as you can see from my first rough draft, looking 'tough' may be difficult for the pup. :guffaw:

D'aww that wolf. Looks like I could tame that one :p

We've got one heck of an evil enemy this week: the Dark Lord! This fiend is ready to defeat any heroes that aren't prepared, so watch out! Make sure to bring plenty of healing potions to this boss battle or your heroes may not win!

@Haydeos I don't sleep... Seriously, I cut out a few hours of sleep every week to get these done. :kaoslp: I just figure it's worth it to people, so I make do (and get a full night's sleep as a reward for finishing early! :kaojoy:).

I tried saving those wolf sprites but when I open it, it looks like this:

The background isn't transparent and I've never had this happen with PNG images before. Anyone know what might be causing this?

yeah i had the same issue while trying to save the knock down goblins too :(

@Snakes That's really weird. :unsure: I just checked and it seems to happen only if you open it in photoshop, if you open it in gimp it's fine (and you can re-save it there and then it doesn't happen).

omg, Dark Lord yessss!!! Almost have all the bosses that I want! By the way, the gold recolor of it is seriously awesome - really makes the battler pop in a new way.

for it it happens when i save it dear but i will try again ^^ i really want a scene where the hero smacks down a grabby goblin :p
