Hi,
I'm new here, not sure if i'm meant to introduce myself or not because i only have downloaded the trial but i'm really excited to get started so i thought i would.
So my main interest in RPG's is the story telling, i like all aspects but that would be my favourite. I love to write fantasy mainly. Funny thing is even though i love to write i suck at grammar/punctuation so i'm going to have to get help there some how.
I guess since this is an introduction i should tell a little about me...I live in a small town in the mountains in Victoria, Australia. My interests are video games (both making and playing), photography, story writing and music (i'm not that good but i'm learning some stuff so i can make some for my game).
Well i look forward to getting to know RPG maker and sharing here.

Welcome to the group!
It isn't really "cheap" right now, but MV is on sale through Steam this week. (30% off I think..?) Might want to take a look. Another good place to watch for the various RMs to come on sale is HumbleBundle.com. Haven't seen MV there yet, but VXAce has been on sale a few times for affordable prices. -
Welcome! :)

Heya, welcome to the forum.
Have fun with the trial and have fun making games. Don't sweat the grammar/spelling. There are a number of tools out there to help you out and even the best of us need editors. I too fancy myself a pretty good story teller but I struggle with grammar.

Hi, everyone. Thanks for the replies and welcoming me.
Can't figure out how to reply to everyone and quote one person in the same post.
So to Zortik: Thanks for the kind words, I would be interested in knowing more about these tools. -
Using the @username will produce a pop up list so you can "notify" someone that you're responding to them. This is the most effective way, and preferred way on this forum, to respond to multiple people in a single reply. Double bumping (responding to a thread and then responding again when your comment is the last and it hasn't been 72 hours) is frowned upon.
If you highlight some text a pop up of "quote this" when clicked will auto populate it into your response box where your cursor is at.

As for tools. The obvious front runner for spelling and grammar is Microsoft Word. You can use some of the free versions (Open Office as an example) as well.
Grammar check online and a number of other websites can help you out as well. However, each of them have their own frustration or nuance. Honestly, one of the best solutions is to find a colleague or friend that can help you here and there while you design your game.
Just be candid that you are in need of a quality assurance tester to try a closed sample of your game and provide assistance.
