  1. Hey there guys, this is my first time here I've been wating RPG Maker since I first saw it come on Steam and thanks to Humble Bundle I was able to get it :D

I also remember that in the humble bundle there was some DLC that came with it I was wondering how do I gain access to it?

over the past week I've been watching Youtube tutorials I gained a really basic idea of events and mapping I was also which tutorials will be the best to watch? I seen some that aren't really that good, I want to wach someone that knows what they're doing and know what each thing is/or has a basic understanding of what everything is

I look forward to learning what everyone has to teach and hopefully I'll have something made to get your feedback on it

    Thanks,

    Tahimaka

I was also wondering if anyone knows how how to use the Game Character Hub and can also point me into a good tutorial for that! :D

All resources need to be added to each project, usually by the resource manager (doing it manually requires more knowledge).
If the resources came as Steam DLC, click on the DLC button in the resource manager after you've redeemed the keys on steam and steam had updated your downloads.

If the resource came as a download link, click on the import button in the resource manager and point to the folder where you downloaded the resources to (sometimes you need to extract them from archives before importing)

Thanks for this! I didn't know where do look and didn't really want to touch anything in the Resource manager and database because it all looks complicated

Follow the link in my signature, it will guide you to the tutorials explaining the basics to you.
  5. Game Character Hub HAS a tutorial built-in. It's also got a web page with more info.

I know I've gone through it, it doesn't really help with making the face, for a character, but then I haven't cheked the web page yet... Thanks for that! :D
  7. Game Character Hub doesn't have the ability to make the faces.

However, I THINK the resources used (for Ace) are from the RTP, so you should be able to use Ace's inbuilt generator to make faces.

I just noticed you posted this in the VX forum. I'll move it to the correct place. (I don't think VX has a generator at all)

Okay thanks, so I just have to generate the character I want to use then load it up in VX ACE and it'll generate the face for me? or are there specific steps I need to take?

Oh sorry for that I didn't realise.

No, Ace has a face generator that you can use to build faces, but it does not do this automatically - you have to start the generator and manually select what parts and colors you want for the face.
  10. Actually there was an update that added a face option to the Hub, although the options seem to be the same as the default one.  I thought a few of the hair options found in the Ace Generator were missing from the Hub, but not sure looking through it again.
