  1. Hello there everyone.

Nice forum you have here....some good reading!

Let me introduce myself and tell you a bit about me.

My name is Steve, and I work as a VFX/SFX Supervisor for an effects house and via others such as 20th Century, Mimas Entertainment, Pixar, ILM, TNG Group, Disney, Bla bla....

However, my original profession was as a programmer back in the good old days of the ZX81, Spectrum, Dragon, Amiga etc.

When I am not working on a major film project I do a spot of programming for several well-known game producers, and I'm currently working on an app for Blizzard to do with Heroes of the Storm.

I live in England, down in the Kent area, and I have a cat (and a wife) and overall life is good.

OK so that's a bit about me, now why I'm posting here........

As I have already said I have been working in the game industry for a very long time and the over all that time I have accumulated vast (As-in about 5TB of Data) amounts of sprites/bits & pieces from when I did graphics for games and demos.

To give you a quick idea over them, here are a few for you to look at.

(Some of them have been used in games, and some have not....its a bit of a mix and match really. And of cause because they were designed to fit games or concepts they can look a bit odd!)o_O

I also do some 3d and manga style work, and again here's a reduced size sample of some of them.

(Those were either from tutorials I have written or as intro-screens for games)

So while I don't use RPG Maker, I am always willing to help any community as I know that there are many talented people out there that just sometimes need a little help.

What I am offering you guys and galls is this.......... If you need any title screen or game design concepts doing, if you need any parallax scrolling landscapes, if you need the odd background/sprite/box/fish! or even a few 2d/3d images (even from the work I have done in the past) then PLEASE ask.

I am willing to help you.

I wont charge for anything...its free.

But I cant dedicate a weeks work to doing things like animations or hugely complex objects...I don't have the time for that.

So........ That's what I'm all about. No strings attached, no hidden catches, just an offer of help for those of you who need it.

I will check this site a couple of times a week, and If you do need help please PM me or even post here in this thread and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Good luck with all your games...........Keep at it.......You WILL get there in the end.
  2. Welcome.
There is a section in Resources for Workshops. I think it would be a good idea to post a thread there as that is where people will look, rather than here.
  3. Hi there welcome. Wow, that is a vast experiences you've got there. Thank you for your offer and willingness to contribute. You'll be one of my considerations when I need some coding or graphics help. See you around!

Ah, Im sorry about that, I did not know. Just to be sure I dont get it wrong again..... I can see on your board that there is the following:
RESOURCE SHOWCASE>>GENERAL RESOURCES>>RESOURCE WORKSHOPS. So I take it that when you said "Resources for Workshops" that you mean I am to post in Resource Workshops yes?
Just checking as I cannot find an area called "Resources for Workshops".

If I have it right, then I will repost the original post in it.

@Stanley: Its no problem... I would not have been able to achieve what I did if no one bothered to give me a hand sometimes, so if I can help I will.
  5. You are right, I meant to type workshops for resources. My brain is a bit addled today.
  6. Welcome! I like the art.
