Hello Everyone,
It has been a while since I ran RPG Maker last and I am looking to sort of make a comeback and re-experience it. I mostly was using RMXP and played a little bit with the newest VX/Ace but since it has been out for a while I figure theres a lot of resources and tutorials now to help make the transition easier...anyway I just wanted to say my Hello and if anyone has some starter tips or just any advice that would help me I would greatly appreciate it.
Take care ^_^

Hey there LPMalakye, welcome to the community! I first started with RM2K and have worked my way up to RMVXAce. When it comes to game creation, it's all about how you combined art, literature, and story telling. Practice makes perfect, I mainly learn from trial and error but I also follow up on tutorials for performing specific functions. My favorite feature about RPG Maker in general is how flexible the program is for projects. I would suggest taking a "Conditions, Triggers, and Events Tutorial", a "Variable Tutorial", a "General Mapping Tutorial", a "Parallax Mapping Tutorial", and a "Shift Clicking Tutorial". If you have any experience with pixel art, I would also suggest taking a "Spriting Tutorial" as well. Good luck to you and any future projects!
