I'm starting a new topic rather than posting in the script thread, as the scripter hasn't been on site since the middle of May and isn't answering queries.

The problem is that if the battle in which you level up is followed immediately by dialogue/cut scene, the level up message screen stays displayed until the end of that dialogue/cut scene, and so obscures what's going on (as well as being annoying). There are 2 methods in the script for the display screen to finish, either action bar or a length of time. Neither operates while the dialogue is happening.
Can anyone see a way of removing the screen so that this doesn't happen?
