Hello everyone,
I'm Azarru, a very big noob when it comes to the rpg maker creations. I tried to do it back in 2000, but I guess my attention span wasn't as big as I thought and haven't tried again till now. I'm kind of struggling when it comes to adding new characters/monsters/movements. I have seen and downloaded a lot of sprites into the game folders, but when I try to add them to the game, the dimensions are all messed up. EX: adding the sprites of characters/monsters(sv battlers, etc), but when I try to add them to the monster section or character section it is just one big mess, unlike the default sprites. I don't understand. They are in the same folder, look the same, same dimensions, but when I add them it is messed up and is one giant cluster. Sorry, I'm having difficulty trying to explain exactly what it is since I don't know the jargon of the game very well. I'm having issues with adding tiles to the game also, since the new pixels don't seem to sit on top of the other tiles, just overrides it. it shows the pixel(picture/design), but it has a white background and I have no idea how to make it lay on top of the other tilesets. I am trying to make a game for my fiancé to play(so that way I can add a BIG message at the end of the game), so any advice about anything would be greatly appreciated. I thank you for your time and hope to be able to chat with all of you. Thanks again.
Greetings,

'Introductions' is for precisely that - introducing yourself and telling us a bit about yourself.
Your query about sprites belongs in the Support forum for the engine you are using. Please post a new thread there. I suggest you include a couple of screenshots to make it a bit clearer what you mean. For those screenshots, please use Alt+PrtSc so that we have just an example of what the sprites/tilesets look like, not your whole desktop. I suspect that the sprites are not formatted correctly, but we need to see what your sprite sheet looks like. Do not post them here. Make a new thread in the forum I have linked to.
