Hello, everyone! I'm a new RPG Maker MV user! My name is Justin, but here on this forum, I may also be referred to as 'The Chronicler.'
Why 'The Chronicler' you ask? It's a long story, but I'll give you the short version.
I've been into creative writing for the past ten to twelve years of my life, and much of it has been spent on roleplaying forums
and in online roleplaying games. However, over those past twelve years, I've had an idea for a story - more of a book, really - called 'Chroniclers of Evremoria.' It's a large, epic adventure done in the veins of J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-Earth, with a bit of a JRPG flair to it. It's been a long journey to figure out the lore, the main plot, the characters and the events of this project, and for awhile I thought my original idea would never come to light. Just recently, however, the RPG Makers were on a Steam sale, and I got the MV version for really cheap. My best friend then suggested I convert CoE to a playable turn-based RPG. Thus begins my new journey to bring my original work to the RPG Maker community. With my best friend's help, my goal is to bring my beloved story, 'Chronicles of Evremoria' to life through the RPG world. I call myself 'the Chronicler', because it's my story and my duty to tell it.
Lately, I've realized it's going to be a big project, and I'm still new to the whole RPG Maker software. However, hopefully with a little help and advice from the community, I can make this game the project I've dreamed it would become, and I hope you guys are willing to follow along with my progress and help out if you can. Of course, I'll be on the forums to check out stuff you guys are doing, and maybe offer my writing/gameplay ideas in return.
Thanks in advance for having me!
'The Chronicler'
Greetings, fellow RPG lovers. :)

Welcome, @TheChroniclerJustin.
You sound very passionate about your project, I like it. Have you finished building the world your story takes place in? After all, I feel that the allure of Tolkien's stories is that they take place in such an expansive and well crafted universe.
I'm looking forward to seeing how your project progresses, should you choose to share it with the community that is.
In any case, I hope you enjoy your time with us. :) -
I've done a lot of work into the lore/world-crafting. It's crazy expansive, and I'm not even finished. I doubt I ever will be. I'll admit, though, I'm a little hesitant to delve into detail in my project. A part of me didn't want to mention it to anyone at all - self-confidence issues and what not. I guess the part of me that really thought I'd need help with the game-creating aspect is what got me out here. I figured I'd at least get my foot in the door.
Even if I don't ever really share my project with the community (but that's only an 'if', I'd certainly like to), I figured I could at least offer some of my plot-writing, character-building and RPG-mechanic-building services to the community.
I appreciate your reply, Stranger. Looking forward to getting to know you all. :) -
