  1. Hi all!

I'm a *reasonably* competent graphic designer who is open to taking requests for title screens for game ideas and projects. I'm capable with typography editing and design, and I am willing to make a few title screens for free for any projects and such that are in need.

I am open to almost any theme, motif, era, etc, and will adjust to anything from High-fantasy setting to Sci-fi. I can work with both the vanilla title screen and any script based titles that may arise.

To test the waters, drop a comment if you're interested, and I'll see how many people (if any) are interested.

    Thanks everyone!

P.S Though not a stipulation by any means, if anyone is open to trading resources, I'm certainly up for that too! :D

I figured I would upload a few examples in order to show what I am able to do:

For the game "Ancient Psalms: The Star Gazer" by Lightleaf:

For a game I intend to make: "HDD: Hard Drive Destiny":

And finally, a texture / wallpaper for a title screen I made while mucking around:

  2. I was originally going to message you about how awesome your signature logo was, but I'll say it here!

Can I make your signature slighty better?

I'm looking for artists interested in doing some work for a project?
     You should make the "?" a "."

    ANYHOO.

    You can make title screens?

Maybe I can test the waters? I have a project that's been in the works for a couple of years now with my significant other and I think a title screen might boost his motivation. There's a project thread around here somewhere. o.o
  3. I too would like to "test the waters", seeing as my project could really use an upgrade from it's painfully bland title screen before my next release. I am curious, are you more comfortable drawing landscape, or people? I ask simply because my current envisioned title screen sort of utilizes a bit of both.

I'm also not sure how you feel regarding working on multiple projects at one time, opposed to doing them one at a time. Although by all means, I don't mean to rush you, and feel free to finish up any previous requests before focusing on my own.
  4. Can you give us some example to look at? I am always lookinmg to see who else makes title scenes besides myself.

I'm feeling the shame right now! I can't believe I didn't see that! I'll fix it right now. Thanks so much for pointing that out though! :)

Sure, if you're up for me having a shot, I'm up for it for sure, I'll search for it, but if you want to throw me a link that'd be great too!

Thanks for the interest, Vis_Mage! At this stage, I'd say I'm more comfortable with landscape than characters or people, because they are what I have had more practice with. Having said that, I'm more than willing to try both.

If I had to pick one element of all though, I'd say it would be typography, it sounds odd, but I love fonts, and word structure. I love detailing a title, or a symbol and making it go from a word or a means of conveying a title to something more creative in its own right. (Rant over).

I don't mind taking on multiple requests at a time, though I won't take too many otherwise people will be waiting far too long for their respective titles. Having said that, anywhere between two and five or so shouldn't pose a problem. :)

Yeah, I know what you mean. This is actually a new hobby for me, so I currently only have one or two screenshots to show, but I'll add them in now. I've been using RGM for probably 3 or so years now, and have been playing with Photoshop for graphic design and typography for longer than that, but the thought to put the two together didn't occur to me until the other day. XD

But to everyone, thanks for the interest! I'll upload some screen caps soon, and hopefully some people are interested!

If anyone wants to 'test the waters' feel free to send me details in a PM or link me to the game thread and I'll see what I can do. :)
  6. i'll would like to "test" the water, already sented you a pm :)

Just received it and replied :)
  8. I'll send you a PM shortly, as I've failed to many times trying to make a logo for my title. x)
  9. I'm willing to 'test the waters', seeing how the example is so beautiful :D

    Sending the PM right now...
  10. beautifull but I just have to prevent you to be carefull with Font you use in your title screen because I recognise the angel peace and angel war font in your game and the author don't allow commercial use unless you buy is font~

is surprising but sometime font are not free for comercial use ~ read carefully the Font disclaimer write by their author

(if you use in commercial game ~)

    so nio Out~
  11. Yeah, I know what you mean Nio.

That title you see there wasn't used, which is why I wasn't too worried about it only being free for commercial use.

All the same, thanks for the heads up! :)
  12. Good Luck with your work mate, knock these guys dead~!
  13. Thanks Omega! :D
  14. I would like to say that I've tested the waters, and definitely loved the result :D
