I know I'd already made a question like this on one of my status update, but why not turn it into a topic?
Ok lets get back to topic, what kind of game did made you cry, for me it's "Drawn to Life:The Next Chapter"(I know i the ending is so touching that it made me cry(a little).

My very first RM2k game... it was SO bad that simply playing it made children cry.

A game that made me cry.... I remember! I didn't know why, but I was a crybaby that time (9 years old). It was a sad game though, I cried when I played "Suikoden V" and saw the part where Queen Arshtat (If I've not mistaken) died and princess Lym (Forgot the full name) and everyone else in the game cried because she was killed and betrayed by Gizel, someone (A prince maybe, I forgot) who pretended to be kind then kill the queen. I cried at the ending too because the prince's loyal companion died...... I guess that's it...

I, myself never cried in many games but I'm very saddened with most of them. But there's a game, even if I already spoiled while playing it, that made my eyes watery and it's... FF7...

To the Moon ;_;

The ending of Asguaard; I was so sure that I could get everyone out alive and to have not one but two go down, and in the way that they did, was just so sad. Shows the power of good story-telling. Another one is the ending of Millennium 2: Take me higher. Again it was the ending that did for me.

Final Fantasy IX - The airship cutscene when the Black Waltz kills all the Black Mages on the ship, and Vivi's all like.. ._. My friends and I cry each time we see this scene, I swear.

There's yet to be a game that causes me to cry/ break down, but a game that got to me and made me well up a bit was Alys's death on Phantasy Star 4 when she took the Black Wave for Chaz. Their relationship with one another I thought was really nicely done and realistic... It was a great part of Chaz's character development as well.

A couple scenes in Red Dead Redemption. That whole game hit me pretty hard.
"And now I knooooow...
the only compass that I neeeeed....

SPOILER ALERT FOR POKEMON BLACK 2/WHITE 2
SpoilerAt the end of the game, N releases Reshiram/Zekrom. Reshiram says "Preah...." and N said "I know, I'll miss you too..."
The...feels...
Also, hearing some of the Pokemon soundtracks make me cry because of how awesome they are. I'm such a loser. -
Nier got me several times. Its just a depressing game.
SpoilerFYRA! ;_; -
For me, the worst cases are the ones where you, the player, is actively made to participate. In case of Nier, it was the following:
This game hates you and want you to suffer, and will stop to nothing in order to break you.Another example would be Tales of the Abyss:SpoilerThe ending where you have to kill Kainé.
SpoilerMost of the God Generals but more specifically, Arietta's death. First, you kill her adoptive mother (a monster, yes, but still) at the beginning of the game. Then Ion dies because of the party (just Anise, but still the party). Then she's -justifiably- enraged, attacks you and dies. Pathetically tries to articulate a sentence and crawl on the ground before biting the dust. -
