About a month ago, Square Enix announced a game which not many people seem to know about- Gameglobe. The general idea is that it's a browser based game making tool for third-person action games. The thing I noticed however, is that the graphics are better than most console games to date and that it seems extremely simplistic to use.
It's quite hard to explain, so I'll let this video do the talking.
You can sign up for the beta at http://www.gameglobe.com/
It doesn't seem to take a long time to get a key as I got mine in a week.
So what do you think of this? Does it look bad, or does it look worthwhile?

Interesting stuff. Just registered. Thanks for the heads up :)

Looks quite a bit like what Unity3D has to offer, although the rendering here does seem a little more advanced. I'm having trouble loading the entire video, but it does look like a simpler version of Unity3D. Is it possible to import your own assets into the editor, or are you stuck working strictly with the prefabs?
