I just got GCH and I made a character I liked and I made a face to go with her. But the face is bigger than the faces that are used in RPG Maker VX Ace. When I go to import it part of it gets cut off. How do I export it from GCH as a regular sized face file for Ace?
Nevermind. I figured it out on my own.

Then maybe explain it to the rest of us? Or someone else do so. Please.

Well, actually, I just make a grid out of the RTP face set and line it up so it will fit in the editor and cut off the excess.

Huh??? What the problem is. GCH makes RMVX Ace faces at 128x128. Yet, RM VX Ace uses 96x96. I have been bringing the face into paint.net to resize it down. I don't want to cut any off the face off. You lose 1/4 of the width/height from the face if you trim it down.
Edit-Just Noticed there is a resize bult into GCH I'm soo dence. Resize under character menu (select all layers first.) Then Change grid size.. Still dumb that the faces are not made at the correct size to start with. Is there a way to do this as part of the random creation process? So I can set it up to make 500 correctly sized faces? -
Sorry. I didn't think to check back after editing my first post when figuring out my own answer. When you create a face you just click save as, then there are options to save it as a PNG file with the proper proportions for a face set. You can choose what slot the face takes up in the file. So far I haven't figured out how to save multiple faces to the same file though but this sizes the face to the right proportions used by Ace.

I'll check that out Thanks.
