Galv's Menu Theme Script has one prominent oversight: If you've disabled Save or Formation (or probably anything else, for that matter), they still appear to be available in your menu! There's no darkening effect to indicate that the function is not currently available.
I asked this on his page and he said he's not doing any alterations. So I leave it to rpgmaker.web. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?
I'll check back in a year.
