Advent Calendar Day 6

Back in 2022 @DylanTheGamerDad created some sprites for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. These sprites really inspired me to try and create my own Ninja Turtles RPG game, which I have been working on and off of for the last year).

Anyhow, although he did create a sprite for a Foot-clan Soldier, it was not the version I was looking to use in my game. I want to use the Foot-soldier design that was closer to that of the 80's cartoon or the early NES/SNES games. So I created some to match more what I was looking for and I thought I would share them to the community in case there is anyone else out there that was looking for this version.

I have one set of sprites with the Foot-clan symbol on their forehead and one without.

This is great! Was a ninja turtle fan in the day (who wasn't!?) And my children are just getting into it now. We've been having fun with the new TMNT game that came out this year. Honestly not sure if I should show these to my boys or not, they might demand I make a game too!

These look awesome.
My little guy and I stumbled across a little arcade, just a couple years ago. The TMNT game was there and still a single quarter. Cost us $12 to beat it :) .

Advent Calendar Day 7

Although it is great that the last few RPG Maker systems have included SV Battlers to go along with many of their hero character sprites; sadly most sprites don't get one. So since the release of RPG Maker MZ I have created a few SV Battlers to match some of the sprites that never got an official one and today I bring you all another, Monster_2, (or as I like to call him, The Green Zombie Guy).

So now any of you out there that have ever needed a Green Zombie to join your party and fight alongside your hero, look no further, here he is, lol.

Advent Calendar Day 8

Consumed by his insatiable thirst for knowledge and power this madman toiles tirelessly on his unholy experiments. For today's Advent entry is the next in my series of NPC Characters, The Mad Scientist.

This classic character could be used in several different ways in one's game, (In fact, I have a place for him in my game as well, lol). In his lab the line between genius and madness is blurred.

The zombie was the perfect amount of gross and terrifying.

The mad scientist is spectacular. One of those sprites we didn't know we needed and now it's here I feel he's a must. Btw, I adore your art style! Why not use the drawings in the banner as the busts for your character as well?

The drawings in the banners are just me messing around with AI to see what I could come up with to try and match the sprites through description then some editing in photoshop. They don't allow AI work as resources on the website so I was just using them for the banners.

Advent Calendar Day 9

As some of you know, over the last few years I have slowing been creating Character Sprites and SV Battlers for the Marvel Universe. A little while back, after watching the movie, Across the Spider-Verse, I created a character sprite for Spider-Gwen for my Marvel Resources Thread. Anyhow, for today's Advent, I have the SV battler to along with that sprite.

Advent Calendar Day 10

I'm back now with another conversion of one of Thalzon's Static Enemy into an SV Battler.

Up next is the Jellyfish. I plan on having an underwater section in my game and wanted to have better variety of different aquatic sea creatures for my hero's party to battle against and I really like the Jellyfish monster that Thalzon had created so I gave a stab at trying to animate it and this was the result. Hopefully, this can help someone else out there looking to include some underwater battles in their game.

Once again big thanks to Thalzon for giving his permission to transform a few of his Static Enemies into SV Battlers and share them. Also, I again used part of one of Vibrato's attack waves and edited it to match, so please remember to also include him in the credits.

That is an excellent piece of work.
I don't have an underwater section, but I'm just thinking to myself that maybe with a sneaky bit of recolouring this could be a nicely disgusting land enemy. Parasite maybe? Or...
