Wow, Thalzon's battlers are always so amazing and your SV conversions are always so good.

For the Ninth day of my Advent Christmas Calendar I return back to the world of Sci-Fi/Futuristic resources with my Robot Villagers Four-Part series.
Imagine a hidden village, deep within the forest, where the townsfolk are sophisticated, empathetic, peaceful, but not quite human...
What is the secret of this mechanical village? Maybe the townsfolk simply believe their steel hearts and gears are merely “natural” features of their race. That they should be treated no different than their human counterparts. Or, perhaps the population believes they’re human due to a centuries-old enchantment; they’re actually the last survivors of a failed machine-seed city. The village exists as a living archive to protect humans through a looming magical catastrophe. Or, could it be that the village is a front for harvesting human memories to improve AI behavior of the robots. The possibilities are vast.

I'd love to make a game with these robots as the main characters! Your maps are great too.
-
Aww, she looks so cute.
-
While appreciating the talent, I didn't think I was a big fan of robots. But, then, you posted the female version and, all of a sudden, I'm like -- Yes! That would definitely work! Thank you.

For the Eleventh day of my Advent Christmas Calendar I have the third part of Four-Part series of Robot Villagers.

I like that this one has two eyes as opposed to the other two. Feels more human immediately.
-
I don't know if I would ever use them, because I tend to stay in the "fantasy" realm of my projects and much less on the "tech/sci-fi" side.. but I do have to say I really love the idea of a couple of NPC robots dressed as townies and shop keeps. Especially since a lot of the times their dialogue and purpose is pretty automated? robotic? Hehe.
Even with that being said, they are very cute and even though they are robots they still would blend into the fantasy style very easily.

Great, now I have to build a robot village ! You're not making it easy for me, GalacticGod ! How am I supposed to put that in my story ? But I just HAVE to use them...

do you release your games to the public?View attachment 354548
As I've stated in previous years Advent Christmas Calendars, I have always been a huge fan of the Static Enemy Battlers that Thalzon has created. Sadly, I no longer use Statics in the games I develop so the only way to keep using Thalzon's Battlers was to turn them into SV Battlers.

So with Thalzon's permission, I plan to continue to share the Static Enemies that he created that I have transformed into SV Battlers.
That said, I now bring to you Gnome_02. I also used part of one of Vibrato's attack waves and edited it to match, so please remember to include him in the credits.

I have been working on a couple different games for years now. Maybe someday... lol. -

That one is fantastic. Needs a static enemy pose... in case you piss it off.

Ooh, very cool. Gives me outlaw/mercenary vibes

Robert Pinero/Low is a master at creating incredible SV Battlers. Although he does create walking sprites to match his battlers, they are not in the standard RTP style. So with his blessing, I created a few RTP style character sprites based off some of his SV Battlers for this years Advent Christmas Calendar.
A couple of years back, Low created a Goblin Foes Pack with some incredible well designed SV-Battlers. He has updated the pack several times since then, including a Battler for today's Character Sprite, The Goblin Bomber.
The following is the RTP Style character sprites for the The Goblin Bomber (Including all three color variations he has in that pack.):
For those interested in picking up Robert Pinero/Low's Goblin Foes SV Battler Pack, I will leave a link below:
