Advent Calendar Day 12



Day 12 marks the half way point of the Advent Calendar and with it I am back once again with another conversion of a character sprite from the RPG Maker MZ engine that doesn't have a SV Battler. This time around I have MZ_SF_Monster_6.



This robot guy was a little tricky as he had a lot of little parts to try and get correct. I spent a long time tying to get him right. Hopefully, he will be able to find a way in many of your games.

Advent Calendar Day 13

Today I have another attempt at creating some tiles for a tileset. This time around, SteamPunk Pipes.

SteamPunk Pipes are brass and/or copper pipes that intertwine art and engineering in a fantastical Victorian-inspired world. Often adorned with gears, and pressure gauges, these pipes serve various purposes, from transporting steam and gases to powering elaborate machinery. They are a staple in the workshops of inventors and airship captains alike, symbolizing innovation and the relentless pursuit of progress.

Is it time to build an airship ? I think it is !

Great pipes, but, can someone provide some examples to show how to use them?
I really don't have any idea.

The SV robot is so well done, and I really love the pipes as well. Steampunk is such a cool genre :D

Advent Calendar Day 14



During My 2022 Advent Calendar I did an edit for all the assets of MZ_Monster_3, (The Wolfman), showcasing him with only white fur instead of his typical blue and white RTP version. Now with the recent addition I made of a SV Battler for MZ_Monster_3, I feel it is time to also add and all white version of the SV Battler to complete the White Wolfman set.

For those who don't want to go through my thread trying to find all of the White Wolfman assets I previously release, I have placed them here as well. (I updated the TV and TVD Character Sprites to better match the new SV Battler.)

Advent Calendar Day 15

Today I add another character to my collection of sprites from the Marvel Universe; this time it's Mephisto.



Mephisto is a powerful, demonic entity in Marvel Comics, often depicted as a master manipulator and a ruler of a hellish dimension. He embodies temptation and deception, frequently engaging in deals with superheroes and villains alike, offering them the fulfillment of their deepest desires at a steep price. With a cunning intellect and a sinister sense of humor, Mephisto has clashed with many iconic characters, including Spider-Man, Ghost Rider, and the Avengers. His ultimate goal is often to corrupt souls and spread chaos, making him a formidable adversary to any character in the Marvel Universe.

Mephisto's character, as you described it, sort of reminds me of Malak from Dark Deception. Malak is also a demon, and he rules over the Nightmare Realm. He will be more than happy to grant your deepest, darkest desires... just don't play games when he comes to take your soul as payment.

What a great contribution. The shape of the eyes does so much to bring out his character.

the pipes are awesome! love the battlers too obviously, but the pipes are sweet! people are always asking for steampunk tiles and those fit the bill perfectly

Advent Calendar Day 16

Today now makes us 2/3's of the way through this year's Advent Calendar. It's hard to believe that it's almost over.

Today I have some more of the RTP style weapon sprite sheets, as well as the matching icons to go along with them. I would say that with the exception of the Sorcerer's Wand, this set of weapons is a little more niche. The Shovel, Hammer, and Pick Axe could be used for a miner or dwarf type character. Or maybe the hammer is for a Blacksmith character that joined your hero's party. The Vine Whip might be used by tribesman or forest people of some sort. Lot's of possibilities out there. Anyhow, I hope you can find some use for these weapons.

I made a Prospector class for one of my RPGs so that Pick Axe is going to be very useful!

I used a shovel for a farmer protagonist until he got an axe in one of my games. It's a useful way of showing progression, so might be more versatile than you've been giving it credit for.

That vine wip would be absolutely perfect for a fairy battler. Great stuff!
