  1. Hello from Russia!  :D

I interesting in Fullscreen in 4:3 on 16:9 monitor (with black stripes on the sides).
I've tried various scripts that change the window size (for example 1366x1024) but if i press alt + enter fullscreen shows me a stretched image 16:9.
How i can save 4:3 ratio in full screen...

  2. It all depends on computer resolution and not something you can really control...
  3. I do think that if you don't use any FS script (or any script that allows you to get past the maximum resolution set by the engine which was actually just 640x480 with the default being 544x416) and just use the default full screen of Ace, it uses the 4:3 ratio...

I've tested it on my own Ace games on my laptop which uses a 16:9 screen ratio and they do seem to retain the 4:3 ratio in full screen mode.

Why this as I wrote in the header

    Clean game

    For Fullscreen i use ALT+ENTER

"Launch in Full Screen" shows the same result
  5. In my case, I had to tweak my monitor settings to display at fixed ratio. My default settings were at "Large" display which resulted in a distorted image when I used Alt-Enter.

So, I guess this is not something that can be controlled by an application (at least not easily).

Apparently, it's true. Sadly. I would like to have a normal full screen
  7. The display changes depend on the monitor interpolation electronic and the graphic card's driver.

Unless your monitor specifically has a setting for it, you can't force the display to 4:3 on a widescreen.

Some grafic drivers do have such a setting, and in that case it's easier - but there is the additional problem that you need to go to a standard windows resolution like 640x480 before the grafic driver can handle special settings.

There's nothing in there about it being a clean game

Then I guess maybe my graphics driver just had that setting. :)
