  1. Hello there, I've been searching the forum and can't seem to find a solution to my problem. When importing front view battlers from any of the medieval packs they appear to be too large and are cut off, with only a small portion actually showing. I saw some people saying that adding a $ sign to the name of the file should fix it, but I haven't had any luck with that. Any suggestions that don't involve manually resizing every single battler from all of the packs?
  2. Increase the screen resolution.
  3. The front-view static battlers are larger than they should be by design. Having a larger battler allows users to use the images for higher-resolution games, promotional artwork, or whatever else that might require a bigger image. You can decrease the size of the static front-view battlers very easily in GIMP or any other image-manipulating program which can be done for free. You can always take a large image and shrink it down and retain its detail and quality, but you can NOT take a small image and make it large because it becomes stretched and blurry.
  4. I was not aware you could increase the screen resolution in rpg maker. How can this be done? Also, what size would you recommend resizing the battlers to?
  5. I think one of the default included plugins for MV does the screen resize.

As for the battler size, that would depend on your chosen screen size so you need to test it out and see what size works for your liking. And there is no "one size fits all" even once you have a chosen screen size since you might want certain battlers to appear larger or smaller (like a giant would normally be larger)
  6. Got it working with gimp, thanks for the help everyone!
