  1. So I purchased The Simple Life music pack here on RPG Maker, which said it was optimized for VXace (which I'm using), but after pulling it into the program, I tried to test the music files out but none of them had any sound.

Does anyone know how to contact the creator or how to fix this? They were able to be played on my PC's music programs, but not on RM VXac.. I'm rather disappointed.
  2. Is it mp3? or is it ogg? or even midi?
    I don't have that pack.

    I don't have that pack.

Hi They supplied both mp3 version and ogg files. Is there a way to resave new ogg files?

I mean, what is used in your game? MP3 doesn't always play somehow, so you gotta put the ogg one, and only ogg. Not both.
  5. In my game, it's all ogg default music, which are working well. Maybe you are right, I'll check, maybe I put in the mp3 version?

Update: Nope, I re-copied the ogg files, but still nothing.
  6. I found a thread where someone else had the same problem, but there wasn't really a solution?

There wasn't any warning that the files might not work. It's a pity, I wanted to have calm village BGM music, or if anyone have suggestions for village music finds, let me know?
  7. does the game play sound at all?
if not, the process might be muted independently.... check the sound mixer.
  8. @gstv87 Do you mean the sound mixer in the RM engine?
I'm new to the program. where do I find it?
  9. I have that pack. Same problem, but with the .ogg files only. .mp3 files are working, but they're not great for BGM due to gaps in looping.

If they're advertised as optimized for Ace, then they should work in Ace without you having to do anything to change them.

@Archeia is there someone who could take a look at this?
  10. I'll report this
  11. Oh thank you for letting me know, I thought something was wrong with my engine, but if it's because of the Ogg files, then the staff needs to look over this.
  12. Update: The staff responded well, and the files have been fixed. So any past buyers simply need to reinstall them. Thank you for everyone's efforts to help me :) Thread can be now locked!
