  1. Do you work out or do any kind of fitness training? What motivates you?
  2. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of regular trainings, but I have no choice. I want to lose some weight and become more slimmer. I started working out 3 times per week with personal trainer. It gives great result, but the level of effort is very intense. Also I want to get rid of cellulite and sculpt the buttocks and hips faster. I've already checked info about sculptra cost in one NYC clinic and I think I'll make buttocks injections soon. Girls from fashion magazines and instagram inspire me a lot!
  3. I lift weights 2-3 times a week and take my dogs on a morning walk (approximately 1-4 miles depending on the day, the temperature and how far I feel like going) at 5 am to begin my days. I used to be a lot more active, logging a good 12 hours a week doing mma drills at the gym as well as weekend matches, but I messed up both the ankle and knee of my left leg last year and ended up having to give up mma and just haven't had much motivation to stay fit since then.

Thinking about getting back into traditional martial arts like I did as a teenager. Have done Taekwondo and Aikido in the past. Neither were as invigorating or demanding as mma but with a leg that sometimes randomly buckles under stress and sends me sprawling, I can't exactily do that anymore without risking further injury. First I have to cut back on working though, and right now I like the money that having one full time job and two enjoyable side jobs affords me too much to stop. :D
  4. I feel you on the physical problems. I have a back injury plus arthritis issues in one wrist and one ankle that make it very hard to do much exercise, especially any kind of impact aerobic stuff like jogging/treadmill.

I really NEED to hit the gym more though. I'm so out of shape.
  5. I started running last fall. We have a small track in our YMCA and I would walk laps while my kids were in karate. But that got boring so I started running a few laps here and there. I then made a goal to run a 5k - I've never been much of a runner before, so even a mile seemed a lot at that time. But in April I ran a 5k and hit my goal of running the whole thing and even had a surprisingly decent time (for me, I'm slow).

Now I'm running and swimming. My next goal is to do a (short) triathlon. It something I've wanted to do for a long time but never thought I could do the running portion.

I'm also hoping to start working with a trainer once a week or so to get into strength training more. I love lifting weights, but I just need some guidance right now.
  6. I'm trying to be healthier since I overworked myself into bad health with bad habits . So been hitting the gym every day for an hour to control my type 2 diabetes and alleviate arthritis problems. I changed up my diet and been sticking with it for the most part. I used to do martial arts back in the day (karate, akijutsu, iaijutsu, Tai chi) so I still practice katas tho just not full blown contact sparring like I used to (I'm a lot slower now than I used to be and take it easy these days with some yoga lol). My fav exercise routines are old school calisthenics. If it worked for Jack Lalane and Richard Simmons then it'll work for me too lol.

@joombo yo do squats donkey kicks and hip rotations no need for shady booty injections. I seriously hope you were kidding about that...
  7. Exercise

I need to do more of it uwu just because I have a fine shape for being overweight doesn't mean I should stay fat lull
I honestly don't wanna be skinny but I'm gonna do more yoga and swim more, and hopefully I'll be healthier someday
  8. I work at Walmart. Does that count?
  9. I like doing stretches and yoga!

I would do more as my big motivator is to gain muscle (for cosplay) but I'm underweight, so I can't do anything until I find a diet/routine that'll work for the time being.
  10. Well, as a farmer, I get plenty of activity outdoors.. but I do strive to maintain a regular fitness regime too. Weights, Cardio, & Hatha Yoga 4x a week. Hike 5-25miles a week. Walk the dog 2-5miles a day. Sprinkle in some Kayaking, Rock Climbing, and Racquetball and I'm golden! :)

*EDIT* @mlogan , I used to teach a "running" class at my local YMCA. I was briefly a trainer and ran a Jubilant Running course on our inside track. Basically it was "fast walking" while dancing, stretching, and shaking around crazily. I LOATHE boring running.. and I know I'm not alone in that. Haha! I always had a surprisingly good turn out though! :)

You poor soul.... (walmart doesn't own that yet right?)

I'm trying to anyway, live on 100% Soylent until Christmas.
  12. About 19, 20%.

During summer, I'm either helping lift (or by myself) dirt, mulch, rock, stone, grills, lawnmowers, etc. Then I'm constantly moving back and forth between flowers, aisles and the register.

During the rest of the year, still lifting bags of salt, Christmas trees, freight. Running around putting returns back and going up to run a register.

I'll say I'm walking and lifting for my exercise.
  13. I want to try too
  14. I do a regular work out regime based on the PT i did while i was in basic. The only thing i dont still do is pull ups cause i dont havr a good place to do it. I run about 6-8 miles every mon-wed-fri and do....i think calestinics is the right word every tuesday and thursday. Mostly push ups and sit ups.
  15. There are different types of yoga. I like mostly the aero yoga. I practice it in the gym. There is a training included in my program so I have decided to try it. I like that when I practice yoga I feel free and my body gets relaxed much more than when I meditate.
  16. So, my instagram is basically a nerd gamer and game designer that works out hahahaha

Find what you like and you can be fitness, and don't worry about your body but just your health for now.
  17. I am very motivated by the result.
