VXAce - Find the Arsonist

This is one of my games. Made for the one map game challenge.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not post in this thread the person who is guilty of the crime in this game. DO NOT. Discovering the identity of the criminal is for players to solve, so don't say who did it. Please.

Synopsis: A large apartment building has burned down. The police have discovered evidence of arson, as well as three suspects who have been known to commit crimes in the past. One of them is guilty, but who? That is up to you to solve.

Game Mechanics/Features: Talk to the various suspects to discover who committed the crime. Access the computer terminals to discover more about the suspects and the crime itself. Also, contains a beautiful soundtrack by @DesperateMeasurez (Darren Curtis).

Hmm, not really easy! Too be honest, I was kinda guessing and got lucky xDD :) But yeah, I think the clues are pretty well laid out, so there's that. xD :)

I think I still need to improve some parts, but I'm happy with it overall. :)

check the passability on the computer tile to the right of the suspects.

regarding the game: I have a feeling you watched a lot of CSI or Sherlock Holmes.
maybe expand this into a more procedural-show type plot: present a somewhat solid alibi, then have the player dig up some clue that refutes that and sends them back to the beginning.
I was expecting the broken console to end up working somehow, maybe work on that towards providing some more information?

you got the basics done, now embellish it a bit more.

yes but one map can accommodate 500 tiles, squared. :)

I wanted to go with the spirit of the challenge - a small game.

I finally for the download to work and played it. It was actually pretty good. I ended up selecting the wrong options in dialogue and ended up with people who wouldn't corporate, I think thats actually cool!

My first guess was wrong but I changed my methods of approach and got it on my second try.

I do like the option to flirt , I giggled my butt off.

Nice game, i really would like a version where you can look at images to get evidence, or take to more people.

Look at images? That's a great idea! As it is, however, I used the most events possible for the challenge, so I can't add more people to talk to :kaoswt2:

Oh! I may have an idea...what about a computer that you interact with give it an option to, view criminal profiles and view case evidence? Or the broken computer can only show evidence but not profiles? You can make it so it shows a picture, the player looks at it, then have the character say something and then erase the picture once the player is done?

I hope that makes sense excuse my disappearance I'm going to feg ready for work
