  1. Hello fellow wizards!
I've been a member for a while but it occurs to me I never said hello!
I'm hoping I'll hear from some of you, and truly looking forward to getting to know you all!
Lots of good stuff coming up for me soon, I can't wait to share.
Come say hello to me, and let's chit chat!
  2. Well hello to you too!
  3. Hello from another former lurker!

Welcome to the boards, you'll find a lot of nifty stuff. =D Can't wait to see what you're planning on showing us. =]
  4. Hello and welcome to the family. I look forward to seeing what you post. You have a good one, I'm sure I'll see you around.
  5. Thank you, Dreadshadow, l8rose and Jeremiah Eastman! I'm looking forward to sharing some of my project. I don't think it's ready for GAMES IN DEVELOPMENT, but if it's acceptable, i'll post my project logo (along with it's first character poster) here in this thread? Perhaps I should use it as part of my signature?

BTW, I took a look at the video preview for GLADATORA and it looks terrific! Nice work, Mr. Eastman!
Also, read up on STARSHARD... I love the reference to "other-worldly beings..." (shiver)... and Inera reminds me strongly of a character from SODALIS named Brenna. The game looks really great!
Good luck on your secret project, Mr. Shadow sir...!
  6. Thank you very much Sodalis:smile: I've been hard at work on that project for a year now with very little time off from it. I don't think there would be any issue with you posting those things here, though I am not a mod I could be wrong but I'm sure someone will answer that one in short order. I look forward to seeing the logo.
  7. Welcome! I look forward to seeing what you make.
  8. Thank you, Frogboy! That sounds like a superhero name! I took a peak at your EREMIEL page and it looks very impressive. I have this feeling I could lose myself just playing the games I've been looking at around here! Where do we find the time to work AND play?
  9. I'm with you EREMIEL is pretty dang sweet. It is hard finding time playing all the great games here and doing your own work but it's a decent problem to have hehe. At least with games like Eremiel it is enjoyable.
  10. My problem has always been a trade-off. My freelance work keeps me quite busy, and my passion projects suffer for it. I'm always chasing dimes, it seems. When I am able to relax and focus on SODALIS (the rpg game) or SOVEREIGN STARS (the board game) or TINY TYLER AND THE BIG SCARY WOODS (the children's book) it's like sitting in a meadow... relaxing and wonderful. Of course, this leaves little time for keeping up with shows and film, the novel sitting half-read on the nightstand, or playing all of these fantastic looking games.
  11. I hear ya I have been dedicating every free second I have to working on my game. I feel like I am still never able to get enough done. Still the community here is a great escape. And pretty dang helpful too.

I say you should, so then we can look and be nosey. =P
Thank you =D They play a part in the back story too, just haven't really put that on the thread as I'm still trying to work how to make it sound far more catchy. And I've never played that so I think that's good?
  13. I'm working on that, l8rose! I'm having trouble posting graphics here, and I believe that I haven't posted enough to the forums... soon, I think!

Straighten me out... When you say you've never played it, do you mean your game?
  14. And it looks like I can now upload!

  15. I meant Sodalis.

Trust me, I regularly play mine. I find a bug, fix it and then find another 30 to fix. =P
  16. Yes, I'm heading for that day when I'll start bug-fixing SODALIS. I can't wait, woo hoo!
  17. Well hello there Sodalis! Welcome aboard!
  18. Tsukunex, thanks... ! Hello!
  19. I'm a dunce and totally didn't realize the connection between your name and the game. Oi, the past week wrecked my brain I think.

And bug fixing is frustrating but can be quite fun. Or hilarious. Hopefully you get to bug fix soon. =]
