My first video game, which was the only one I had for a while, was this weird side-scroller on windows 95. You're a dwarf/cobbler or something, and you catch tiny elves in a net on your way to some magic mountain. Can't remember the name of it. But yeah, that was my favorite for a bit seeing as it was my only game.
Dwarf/Cobbler Game
Wolfenstein 3D
Spy Hunter
Super Mario Bro All-Stars [All games]
WWF Wrestlemania
Super Mario World
Chrono Trigger
DuckTales
Probably more... but I don't remember much of my childhood.
Edit!
TREASURE MOUNTAIN!! That's what its called. I just googled "Games where you catch elves" and it came up. Yeah, that was my jam for a good while. -
My childhood was veeeeery long ago...
I guess Super Mario Bros, Battle of Olympus, Shadowgate are a few of my answers... -
Changed the topic title so that people can actually tell at a glance what the topic is about. (For the love of all that is holy, please don't make vague topic titles)
(As for the actual topic, Wizardry II, Dragon Warrior (Quest) IV) -

Pirates!
Defender of the Crown

This game WAS my childhood. Played it all the time and screwed around with the Create-A-Wrestler feature alot. Nothing better than using your own custom wrestler to plow through career mode. :) -
