Email issues?

I'm forced to do this for a friend because the system went off the rails.

Are Hotmail accounts problematic for system delivery? Said friend is trying to buy the official RPG Maker VX Ace software, and even trying to register, but for some reason there are no emails coming. [it's a problem because said friend did pay for the game, but hasn't received yet.]

Is there something going on? Could the staff please look into this situation?

Spam filters being checked?

Have they tried using any of the thousands of better email solutions out there yet? 

I can look into it but if Hotmail is being... Hotmail, I can only do so much :/

I would check the junk mail folders first.  I use Hotmail as well, though I didn't have any issues either with signing up or purchasing the program (or even buying membership+).  Your friend may have their spam settings pretty high...

I'm having a similar problem as I no longer receive notifications for followed topics in my Hotmail inbox. The junk folder is empty too.

I used to receive them. I don't know why it no longer works.

The sending address is even in the Safe senders list (noreply at altus.forums.rpgmakerweb.com)

Yeah, it's a problem with Hotmail. I am going to contact them/try to get it resolved, but it's on their end, not ours.
