  1. Figured since I will be doing more and more of this, that I would make a thread I can edit with everything I have done.

That being said, on to the fun stuff:

NEW - Some tree edits - Finished off one tree set... I am sure there are others to do now.

    Spoiler
I am currently working on this (need to take a break from roofs). I was looking at Whtdragon's tree recolours (http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/49581-whtdragons-trees-recolors/), and thinking, man it would be nice to have the layer type tree thingies, so I contacted him/her and asked if it was ok, and they said yes. So credits go to Whtdragon for the original recolour which I had permission to edit and then post here. Also fixed the position of the little bush too.

Roof stuff is currently under construction. I made an alignment error and it is really bugging me so I have to fix it. As it stands if you were to use my roof edits with the standard 48x48 stock rtp tile, things would not line up >.<  I'll post updates when it is fixed.

    Spoiler
I will try and do a few more. The green and orange roof sections are from Baron Banana's thread: http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/48280-baron-bananas-mv-rtp-recolors-and-edits/ I just made the corners, so don't forget to credit Baron Banana if you use the green and orange roof. I also have permission from him to repost them here to keep everything together. I will make corners for everything once I finish the last roof, and then I will try to make little peaks for all of the colour variations. Lastly, I will do some recolours once I have completed all the previously mentioned stuff to make more roofing options available!

I will probably be adding to them as time passes.

Feel free to use these in commercial and non commercial games.

Credits to Kadokawa for the original graphics, and if you really want, you can credit me, I don't care all that much :p

I am open to suggestions and requests should you have any! :)

  2. Hi Doc,

I don't suppose you could do a simple recolour?

I've got the MV icons I want recoloured from the icon sheet as an example:

    post-71954-0-62487700-1446167746.png

Can I please get a green, red, blue, and purple background version of the stars, and a purple version of the others (Orb, Broken Orb, Book, and Fortune Ball)?

It would be fantastic if you could do that. I think its better if you use the actual icons in the icon sheet, since I'm only using this strip as an example.

So let me see if I get this right... You want the star with a green/red/blue/purple - Any specific type of those colours, or just my choosing? Also, the rest that you want a purple version... you mean the background only right? If yes, what style of purple did you want, or is it up to me again?

Just want to be clear ;)

Edit - is this something like what you are expecting?

    That's fair enough.

    The desired colours I'm after:

For the star, four separate variations. Only the background, so it still has a white star in the middle, but just a change of background (same finish as the gold, silver, and bronze as seen above.)

For the others, I need the object itself to be coloured purple. So note how there's a yellow book? Just make the book purple, so it matches the theme of the other objects (so, same background). I would recommend a lighter shade of purple, if only to match the colouration of the other objects... so, like this shade of purple: http://www.solidbackgrounds.com/images/2560x1440/2560x1440-electric-purple-solid-color-background.jpg

    Green Background star

    Red Background star

    Blue Background star

    Purple Background star

    Purple Orb

    Purple Broken Orb

    Purple Book

    Purple Fortune Ball

It would be fantastic to tick them all off.

Alright, just saw it. Wrong way around, the orb is purple. Still a good effort.

I have attached the instructions above. My apologies for not being clearer about it.
  6. Doc, I like the edits of the streetlamps best. thanks!

Edit - Stars are done. Updated in the main post.

Ok so I understand what you are getting at now. Only thing left to clarify is what colour did you want the background of the purple (orb book etc) to be? I fear if I make ti purple on purple it might get lost on the icon... did you want me to do it on grey maybe like the backgrounds of the orbs?

Edit 2 - I think I figured out what it is you wanted. Updated the main post! Have a look :)

I am working on some more with wooden poles... but I can't get it right just yet so not gonna post it xP

    Glad you like it!
  8. I have just seen them. They look great! Just what I wanted! I do admit that the purple fortune ball does look a little conflicting. Then again, that was always going to be the case with the purple background. It does it job, and I am very pleased with it!

Thanks very much for your efforts! Looking forward to seeing more efforts here.
  9. DoctorMolotov, please don't make two threads for the same resource. You should have just edited your OP to suit the new direction you were taking with the thread. I've locked your old one.

Upon further investigation, I see that there is a full editor, and in there you can change the thread title and such. I wasn't aware this was a possibility at the time. The old thread can be deleted entirely if possible. Apologies for the double post!
  11. :D Love the roof tiles! I am going to use them once I get into MV. :D I will credit you, of course!
  12. Nice work on the roofs, thanks for your work!
  13. Good job on the roof tiles1

    Thanks guys!

Updated the thread with some tree stuff I am working on now :)
  15. I was trying to do the same thing with the roofs. Yours are much better than mine. XD

I'll take that as a big compliment from someone who has the graphics snob banner in their sig xP

Also just added the blue roof. Probably gonna work on making corners next.
  17. I made a small edit I thought others may be able to use. No need to credit me - no restrictions from me other than following Doc's terms of use. The file needs !$ or $! at the front. =]
