So, Most of their big companies showed some of the latest info on their games and consoles, since there was a thread like this last year I thought I'd start one for this year.
What did you like about this E3? What did you not like? Personally, I thought it was miles better than last years. And the new Zelda U game looks beautiful, if I might add.

Honestly it felt lackluster to me...Sure there was some cool game footage and info, but no real surprises (be it previously unannounced titles or just footage that changes my mind about a game) - which is always my favorite part. I still can't get myself to buy either ps4 or xbox one, because none of the games are must haves for me yet. I irrationally want one, just to have one...but can't logically convince myself it is worthwhile yet. I will get one or both down the road I am sure, but for now I am just waiting, wishing I wanted it more!!
The games I walked away wanting are mostly games I already knew I wanted (Dragon Age, Witcher, and a few others). Even as not much of a Zelda fan - the game did look beautiful I will give it that. -
Disliked most of it myself. I didn't watch Microsoft's conference, but I liked the gameplay demo from The Witcher 3 that was in the conference. EA's conference (despite Mirror's Edge and The Sims 4) was one of the worst conference's I've seen in years. Ubisoft's was pretty bad as well, except for the Far Cry 4 intro and Rainbow Six: Siege which piqued my interest in it. Also was disappointed that Blood Dragon 2 wasn't announced but oh well. Sony's I enjoyed for the most except for the middle part of the show; the Little Big Planet 3 demo they showed off made me smile a lot - not just because of fun it looks but because of candid it was in the fact that the devs were messing up but still having fun. I'm really interested in Bloodborne, and Destiny continues to look good. The Doom teaser actually gave me goosebumps when the old door opening sound played; but because of all the high profile id members left and my hate for Zenimax/Bethesda, I have so little faith in it. I really hope it turns out great.
Overall so far, another weak year for E3, but certainly not as weak as previous years. -
Well outside of Microsoft and EA, I thought it was awesome! Finally there were some games that justified getting a PS4. Although I still won't buy it until FFXV or KH3 are announced. Nintendo I feel had a really strong year this year and have a pretty nice lineup. I'm just happy Xenoblade Chronicles is still coming.

Both were announced last year.Although I still won't buy it until FFXV or KH3 are announced.

Release Dates I mean.

At this rate, it seems like Final Fantasy XV will come out 2018 and Kingdom Hearts 3 should be out by 2035.

My body is ready!

The funniest part is that Nintendo actually responds to these Memes. -
Nintendo is surprisingly awesome. After the winner for Super Smash Bros. Invitational was announced, Reggie literally vowed to get the 3DS version and kick everyone's asses. 'Dat President...Please Understand, All aboard the Hype Train.

Nintendo's Lineup blew the others out of the water.
I loved the Zelda game, I cant wait for Xenoblade, and SSB.
I'm still waiting for more info on Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem.
That Uncharted 4 sneak peak <3 -
Only two non-Nintendo things caught my interest.
That No Man's Sky game, which seems to be "open-galaxy". Each player gets their own starting planet! That's crazy! And the seamlessness of leaving and entering planets...But not much is known yet, really.
Also, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. A sequel to Guardian of the Light, which I loved. The new game has 4 players co-op instead of 2!
Nintendo had lots of neat stuff.
Mario Maker - this could have lots of potential but hopefully there are things beyond SMB1...
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker - this looks adorable. Kind of iffed at Captain Toad getting his own game before so many other Mario characters, and like, say, Peach got her own game but it was a handheld as opposed to a console title, OH WELL.
Yoshi's Wooly World - It just looked cute and simple at first, but it has 2-PLAYER CO-OP!
Zelda U - it looks nice, but I'd like to know more. A more open world Zelda they say. We shall see.
Plus more Smash character reveals: Palutena, Miis, and Pac-Man!
And a little bit of stuff for Hyrule Warriors! -
Damn, I love this song
-
I loved it when they revealed project beast as Bloodborne.
Also, here is some leaked gameplay footage:

I actually really enjoyed it this year. Microsoft sold me on an Xbox One with Sunset Overdrive, Assassin's Creed Unity, the mega ton of indies, and Halo. I nearly cried when The Master Chief Collection was announced. The first three games were a huge part of my childhood. So many awesome memories...
Nintendo tied with Microsoft (would've been #1, but y'know... Halo calls.), and I loved Hyrule Warriors, Captain Toad, Super Smash Bros, and pretty much everything else they showed off, including the custom Gamecube controllers. I still hate the name of Smash with a passion, I REALLY hope it's a temporary name. Zelda U is absolutely goregous, and Splatoon seems like a really fun and innovative shooter. Definitely convinced me even more to go out and get a Wii U. The Smash invitational stream was actually pretty awesome, I hope they do it again sometime.
Sony, on the other hand, was really, really boring. Which is a shock since last year's conference was amazing. Yeah, you had LBP3, Bloodborne, No Man's Sky, and Uncharted 4, but other than that... nothing much. Most of the announcements were pre-rendered anyway, though I guess you could say that for Microsoft too. I'm just surprised how little the Vita and Project Morpheus was featured. They only got like, what, ten minutes of coverage combined? It seemed like an afterthought compared to the other announcements, like something to check off on a checklist. And don't even get me started on the TV section and the trainwreck that was Powers... All in all, I'm just not sold on a PS4 or a Vita just yet. Maybe next year or at TGS.
I also agree with Confederacy in that EA had the absolute worst conference. "Hey, instead of showing actual gameplay, let's just show some concept art and unfinished footage! That oughta get the hype train rolling!" Ugh. Didn't watch Ubisoft's conference this year, I refuse to do so until Beyond Good & Evil 2 is shown.
Overall, pretty good E3 on my end. Lot of great announcements. Here's hoping for KH3 and FFXV to be at TGS or next year's E3. -
@Gav
Mostly agreed, as far as Sony's E3 went, LBP3 was the only thing that stood out. I'll give them credit for at least talking about games this year though. -
