  1. Hi Community,

I need some 'Dungeon Walls' a la Zelda:

This is how the walls should look like. I need 4 different types:

The Walls should be like these, 64 Px high and 32 Px at the top.

They are very important for my project and the author will get credited for them.

I hope someone can help me, thanks in advance.

  2. Um, do you want them to be top-down view like you posted in the picture, or typical VX/Ace view like the RTP tiles you posted?
  3. I want the RTP Tiles I posted in the view of the screen above. The walls should look like they still do but the point of view should look the screen from Zelda.

Sorry my english isn't that good, not sure if you understand what I mean.
  4. Autotiles don't work that way, so it needs to be placed in one of the TileB-E sheets or TileA5.
  5. I know how Autotiles work don't worry and I knew that they will be TileB, C, D or whatever. I just need someone who can create them for me.
  6. Okay, here is why it is hard to respond to a request like this.

First of all, top-down view tiles aren't VX or XP or Ace type resources, so they really aren't around here much.

Second, what you are asking for in some ways (or at least in some parts) is very simple.

You can use any old floor tile for the floor (err, duh) and also for the top of the walls. It is just a 32x32 tile, right? (or you could use one anyways. another possibility is to make some cut in half with the outer edge black to more accurately reflect the image you posted.)

So all you really need is four corners and four sides to accomplish the sloping effect.

And there is the rub. Someone would have to make them for you.

But until you go get the exact floor tiles and wall top tiles, they won't know what to make.

    Does that make sense?

There are tons of A5 tilesets around. Check them out.

I suggest IceDragon and Aindra, but that's only a beginning.

    Good luck!
  7. Well I try to perform what my request was about.

I found this tiles and I actually use them for tests:

They are similar to the Tiles I acutally want. The point of view is right but they are not what I want.

The wall tiles should be 64px high and the top of the walls should be 32px.

The walls should be at all directions 64 px high and the top of the wall should be 32x32 and be made out of the wall of the autotile from the RTP. The whole dungeon should look symmetrical

plus the color/light irradiation should be at all 4 sides the same.
  8. You should link to those tiles, it'd be a lot easier to edit them to make the taller walls.
  9. Ok this is the tileset I've found:

  10. So you can just use the middle tile in the lower left (not the square with the green, but the brown) for the bottom or top, the edges you have, and maybe a ceiling tile or floor tile you like for the top, eh?

Fool around with it. Maybe a recolor or tint would help.

But not to be a killjoy, but you know these are meant to be outdoor tiles, not indoor rooms.
  11. His problem with those is that they're not made to tile on top of each other, which means the walls can only be 1 tile high, and he wants them 2 tiles high. Thank you for posting that, hopefully it will help you find someone willing to do these walls for you.

So check and see if something like that could work.
