Don't know where else to post this, sorry; about Japanese RM2K

If I download the Japanese trial version of RM2K from the Japanese Enterbrain website, will it run on my English-language Windows 7? And can I even download it in the first place?

To my knowledge, there is no trial version of RM2K, only pirated versions are available online (the older japanese RMs were all distributed by shipping discs to japanese adresses, that's why it was almost impossible to purchase them).


That said, even RMXP needs a few special settings to run on Win7/8 - to have an even older version run might be tricky, especially if they are still 16-Bit (I don't know if they were programmed in 16 bit or 32 bit code).

But I went to the Japanese Enterbrain site and there was a download link for a trial version of RM2K.

then try to hit download? then you'd know if it's actually doable outside of japan (I've encountered lots of japanese stuff where if you try to access outside of japan, they will simply tell you that it's not available)
