Does anyone know where to find a audio resource pack for RPG projects? I'm looking for a audio pack containing sounds with a 16 bit retro sound like "EarthBound - Mother 2", thanks for any information.

Here you are: Retro just go down under Retro and see the audio :) http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/31274-crazy-leens-crazy-resources/

I've moved this thread to Resource Requests. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.
There are a number of audio resource packs in the store. Have you looked at them? They all have descriptions and samples so you can see if they contain what you want. -
Eric Matyas might have some in his website. Like Shaz says, the store packs are a great start.

Scythuz released an audio track called 8-bit madness in restaff (but I can't remember which month).
If you are looking for store packs, the Classic Fantasy Music Pack by Murray Atkitson on the main & forum store has an RMW exclusive 8 bit SFX.
And one of Scythuz's upcoming audio packs has a set of retro style battle music. -
That track by Scythuz was part of the July 2013 release. You'll find it here

Shaz, this post really wasn't a resource request. I just wanted someone to point me in the right direction to a retro sounding 16 bit sound effects pack. I've looked on the resource section of the website and nothing specializes in sound effects, just music packs.I've moved this thread to Resource Requests. Asking where to find a resource is a good half of the point of the Resource Request section. The move was correct. I don't know if you noticed, but you also got a lot more responses after the move, so it was also helpful. :) Anyway, no arguing with mods after blue texts. If you have a problem with a moderator action you should resolve it privately, either over PM to the moderator you disagree with or by PMing the next person up the chain of command.

16-bit sounds like from the SNES? You'd either have to commission someone, record said audio from 16-bit console games (can't say how since most times it's using emulation, which is a "morally grey" area), or make your own from scratch with music making software and the knowledge on how to make it.
Also, ripping samples from a 16-bit era game, or any game for that matter, would essentially make your game non-commercial for distribution. Only way around that is to make your own samples, as I stated. -
Not arguing with the Mod, just stating that I am not requesting resources and just advice, although I do appreciate the thread being moved appropriately as members were kind enough to point me in the right direction. It looks like I'll look into making my own 16 bit samples from scratch.Asking where to find a resource is a good half of the point of the Resource Request section. The move was correct. You might want to re-aquatint yourself with the definition of the word arguing. I'll drop it though, good luck with making the samples.

You are asking for help finding a resource pack. Doesn't matter whether you're asking for a single resource or a whole slew of them. It goes into resource requests. Always has, always will.
