    Hi @NinefoldSpirit,

For some reason, using capitals for the category symbols wasn't working, but it should now be fixed.

Please forgive me but the plugin page isn't displaying images correctly but you can still download the updated plugin:

Wow, last week I was breaking Elements Status Menu Core with parenthesis in element types, now I'm breaking your plugin with capitals. I have a knack for this I think

Thank you very much for the speedy fix.

Edit: I can confirm everything now works flawlessly.
  3. Yes, no problem. I'm glad it works fine for you now. :)
  4. Thank you for sharing this plugin! For some reason, I had totally thought this was a default behavior in the VS Items and Equips plugin.

I did notice one thing with the controls/UX. When the player opens the Item menu and selects a category, they can't back out back to pick a different category without completely closing the item menu. They have to re-click on the item menu. I tried this in a clean project with no modifications to the plugin parameters and just DM Item Categories + VS Core + VS Items and Equips. It's not an interference with VS Main Menu which was my first thought.

Related, I didn't know if you would consider adding compatibility with VS Main Menu core so that the item menu can be controlled with the same Q/W or Q/W navigation.

EDIT- I realized that VS Menu Core actually doesn't even use Q/W or Q/E in their item menu page, either. So this was just me mistakenly thinking the controls had been aligned.

Either way, thanks for sharing this!
  5. Hi @feckyeslife , thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you found the plugin useful. Regarding the issue with not being able to go back to the category selection without closing the item menu, I'll look into that. It's possible that it's a compatibility issue or something that can be tweaked.

As for compatibility with VS Main Menu Core, that's an interesting idea. I'd be open to exploring that in the future, especially if there's demand for it. In the meantime, I'm actually working on my own main menu plugin, DM_DynamicMainMenu, which might offer some similar functionality.

Thanks again for your feedback and for sharing your thoughts!
  6. Item Categories Plugin Update: V1.08!

I'm excited to announce that the Item Categories plugin has just received some new updates! This release includes:
    • Improved plugin help file design and aesthetics to match newer plugin standards
    • Added support for vanilla shop menus, making it easier to organize and manage your game's inventory
Additionally, I've updated the licensing terms to clarify commercial use requirements and compliance.
You can download the latest version of the plugin from the official website here. As always, if you have any questions or encounter any issues, feel free to reach out through my support page or email me directly at support@dmplugins.com.

Thanks for your continued support, and I hope you enjoy the new features!

  7. Hey @Dungeonmind, really love this plugin! Thank you for this.

I have a small suggestion: can we have option to have "text only" categories, without the icons displayed? I know I can set icons to 0, but the text looks a bit off then because of the empty icon, so would be nice to have option for just a text. Thank yo for considering this.
