    We apologize for the lack of sprite graphics during the attacking animations for the battle system. When the character turns a certain color, it means they have run out of "stamina" and must wait a few seconds before attacking again.


    KEY D = Defend


    ENTER = Attack or C


    SKILLS = Q, W, A, or S

    XALE is a world governed by the eight Divinities of the elements: Ashe, Rayne, Glacia, Terrin, Starr, Luna, Silva, and Tempess. They keep the world protected and regulated.


    Over time, these goddesses have been mysteriously falling asleep, affecting the seasons in catastrophic ways. As a result of their slumber, lyrical priestesses known as Stonesingers, are convinced by the Crusaders to make a pilgrimage across Xale to awaken all eight Divinities to prevent further calamity.


    But how will the heroes avoid the deadly wrath of the goddesses?


    Understanding the mystery of ghost shards may be the key to victory.

    Narie Tearwyn


    Age: 19 | Race: M'vyr | Weapon: Sword


    Narie is a short-tempered, headstrong young woman and the twin sister of Sarie. She has a strong sense of justice, vowing to protect her loved ones with her life. Knowing the danger Sarie must face, she travels with her sister.

    Despite being the older twin, Sarie is actually much more frail than Narie. She is a peaceful-loving girl, preferring the art of speechcraft over physical fighting. Sarie is currently engaged to Kyran, her true love.

    Age: 21 | Race: Human | Weapon: Twin-blades


    The self-claimed protector of the Tearwyn twins, Kyran is cocky and very optmistic. Nothing seems to bring him down, even as he faces death in the face. He is currently in love with Sarie and is her fiance.

    I also watched your battle system video and you used Fandrey's Cube Colossus theme. I'm sure that's only a placeholder, but at least credit him back as it's part of his terms. Although the specific track you used, a Ferocious Opponent, is actually not allowed for use since it's tagged (OCCUPIED). Either way, please respect your fellow indie developers~

  7. Everytime I look at XP screenshots I always feel nostalgic. Good maps or bad maps just seeing this stuff just takes me back. We need more XP based stuff. I noticed an error in the loud mouth girl's map the water stream on the waterfall seems to be on a higher layer.
  8. XP is awesome! I could not identify the error you mentioned, however.

    I recently made all the icons that will be appearing in the game. Here is a chart that will showcase them (I forgot an item section XD).

    Unfortunately I have not heard from this person in months. Now for the main question: shall I stick with the first style, or try and duplicate the second style?

    Does the spellbook icon look alright with it..? Or should I go with something different?

    For icons, I need some ideas. Like so:

    * Offensive (physically) -

    * Offensive (magically) - Spellbook [DONE]

    * Healing -

    * Support -

    * Necromancy - Skull

    * Faerie Power -

    * Music - Music Note

    * Alraune Power - Leaf
  10. The font looks good on the menu, but I don't like it much in the dialogue. :/

    The spellbook looks good, as for other icons:

    Healing - cross

    Faerie - wings/glitter/fairy

  11. I can change the font for the dialogue. I wonder if having two different kinds of fonts will work..?

    I've tried making a wing icon, and it was soooo difficult. D=

    I know it would fit, I just couldn't do it. .__.

    Added features to the game, as well as "pictures" of the playable demo characters that show up/join the party. We will actually have a total of seven characters in the game, though. I'm not sure if it's important enough to add them or not. o_Oa

  17. Given the hat and the plant-like tail yeah she could share some link with a plant.

    7 is fine IMO. There is really no rule, anything from 3 to 50 is cool if you pull it off right.

    I wasn't asking if 7 is a good amount for the game, but if I should add them to the topic since you can't play as them until later.

    I really like the story and it comes of as a rather interesting concept so far...

    Great job so far!! :)

    EDIT:Yeah I think you should add the other playable characters to the list.Unless it will spoil the story somehow ;)
