Delete button bugging out?

Hey everyone!

So this issue is somewhat of a weird one, as I do not quite know why it happens.
Though it did start with the update that released just now for OSX (That's what I'm using).
What is the actual problem?

Normally, when you add something in the database or in an event and you wish to remove it, you simply select the thing you want to remove, and press the delete button.
Except the delete button doesn't do anything now. But it does work when writing text in "Show Text", or when editing notes etc...etc...
I can also delete events on a map, but I cannot empty them.
I could manually right click, and select delete from the drop down menu, but this would be incredibly tedious if I had to do it for every thing I would like to delete.

Has anyone encountered this before? Or knows any form of a solution to this?
