This incredible pack features the cast of Deathsmiles, CAVE's bullet-hell shoot-em-up where you take control of one of five powerful angels to protect their land from legions of Hell. Deathsmiles Character Pack features the charming and powerful cast of characters - including walking sprites, portraits and faceset!

But what good are angels without some epic bad bad guys to fight?! Katakura Hibiki, the creator of Fantasy Heroes and Dark Heroes is back with an incredible "boss" pack. Lords of Darkness features the villains who control the legions of Hell, including character sprites, battlers, facesets and portraits.

If you've grabbed a pack or two, let us know what you think! We're excited and eager to hear your feedback. BD
  2. Really cool to see resources based on and inspired by Deathsmiles.
  3. Lords of Darkness pack looks awesome! Would fit perfectly in a game I'm planning  :)
  4. Really like the Lords of Darkness and battle themes packs.
  5. Sweet, Scythuz's music is awesome! Great job //rmwforums.s3.amazonaws.com/emoticons/default_smile.gif
  6. Been waiting long for that action and battle music pack. Congrats, Scythuz.
  7. Lords of Darkness and the Time Fantasy sets are both so sick. Now we just need a TILE expansion for Time Fantasy (maybe snow, port cities and some more dungeon variety?) and I would 100% totally make a game with it.
  8. Oh My...Lords of Darkness...  :o  ...must...have...
  9. There only seems to be two or three battlers shown off in the Lords of Darkness pack - any chance of seeing a preview of the others? The screenshots are very small, so the 3 sprites shown are also very tiny.
  10. That boss pack looks soooo good //rmwforums.s3.amazonaws.com/emoticons/default_biggrin.gif

Quite frankly, the graphical style of those battlers is astonishing!

I must say I've already purchased the "Action and Battle Themes" pack and am already quite satisfied with the compositions.

  12. Been looking forward to Scythuz's battle themes pack since forever! Congratulations on having it released now. //rmwforums.s3.amazonaws.com/emoticons/default_smile.gif

Also, the Lords of Darkness pack looks fantastic. This will be a fine addition to any game.
  13. The quality of content coming out is just great lately!
  14. Oh, this looks awesome. My mind is flooded with new ideas.  :o

Well, one question... are bust / waist-up image message boxes available by default on MV? Haven't found an option for this:

  15. Lunarea, can you confirm what we can do with the 'Deathsmiles Character Pack' and ' Katakura Hibiki Lords of Darkness'? Are we allow to create new contents from the characters portraits and monsters pictures? Example : if we use a character portrait, add clothes/hairs/recolor to create a completely new character based from the original ones? To be more precise, if I redraw the lineart of a character/monster from the package and make modifications to it then recolor to make a new character/monster base from the original one.
  16. The Lords of Darkness pack looks fantastic - any chance this is coming to steam as DLC? :)
  17. I hope everybody enjoys my newest store pack! :)

Deathsmiles Character Pack cannot be edited. It has to be used as-is, and you cannot trace/redraw the lineart or use the character design itself to re-create material in a new style.

Lords of Darkness may be edited for personal use, but those edits may not be shared with others. You may not copy the character design and have it done in a different style without written permission.

Yes. All of our packs eventually make it to Steam. :)

Thanks for the clarification. Lunarea, can you also confirm for these 3 packages : Frontier Works: Futuristic Heroes, Katakura Hibiki Fantasy Hero Character Pack and Dark Hero Character Pack for the lineart thing. I initially purchased these 3 packs since I thought they were meant to serve as a base to allow developers to create new graphics contents for their games - these packs would be useless if we have 10 commercial games using the same assets. That's where my question for creating new arts based from these packages come from. Similar to the RTP, we can edit the graphics to make our game different from the mass by adding/editing/creating anything from the original graphics. I hope that applies also to these 3 packages - do confirm please.

Those 3 are the same as Lords of Darkness -- edited for personal use is ok, but edits can't be shared with others. And the design can't be copied into a new style without permission. :)
