Database Manager Error (bug)

Hi,

I don't know the technical terminologies, so I'll just explain what's happening to my RPG Maker Mv.

When I create an event, and select "Stepping" in "Options", instead of getting a check mark in the box,  I get a blue frame around it temporarily, and when I click anything else it disappears. So in the end, I don't know if my character will in fact do the stepping animation or not.

Likewise, when I create skills or items or weapons (or armors), same thing will happen. Whatever I click on, it won't show with the check mark. 

Am I the only wrong experiencing this? What could be causing it?

Can you be more specific? Skills/Weapons/Items don't have check boxes unless you meant menu commands.

What is your standard system font?  If you change it to something plain and boring like Tahoma, does it still happen?

We have seen this kind of thing in Ace as well, and I don't think we ever found the cause.

Sorry yeah - there is no check boxes in weapons, etc. I wrote the message in haste - I might have been too emotional when I realized my MV might have a bug.

Basically anything that has a check box does not 'check'. The Options part (bottom left corner of the pop up when you edit an event) is the most notable, as it always appears blank to me whether something is checked or not. It's quite frustrating.

(At least when I use switches, although the check box is empty, now it shows the switch that I'm using, so I know it's there.)

- I will try the font thing - how do I change the main font? Do you mean through the Yanfly Message Core? 

(Sorry - I should be trying this out before I ask, but I'm at work at the moment, but I will try as soon as I go home)
