    Introduction
    This Script allow you to Level UP By Exp Get From Battle and in Specific Stat Point Like In The Dark Souls.

    - Dark Souls Game Features:
     - Level Up

     - Equip Skill depends in Stats

     - Equip Weapon and Armor depends in Stats

     - Equipment Durability

    How to Use
    Just Copy And Paste Under Materials and Above Main Process, Other Instruction is with Script

    Skills Depends On stats has been added 

    Ver. 1.2

    - Weapon and Armor Depends on stats has been added

    Ver. 1.3

    - Modification on weapon & armor Equip

    - Now You have 7 slots:

      (weapon x 2, shield, head gear, body gear, accessory x 2)

    - you can dual wielding weapons but it's stat be different:

        (weapon stat * 1.5) for Strength and Dexterity only

    - if you equip shield the second weapon will be auto en-equip and vice versa

    Ver. 1.4

    Skill use depends on weapon has been added

    - you can not use physical and magical skills if you do not have the right weapon 

    Ver. 1.5

    - Modify status window

    - Add Faith Stat

    - Now you can return original stat 

    - Now you can level up from specific places 

    Ver. 1.6

    - Add icons for all stats and Exp Points

    Add Durability for weapon and armor

    - Add Blacksmith scene for repair armor

    Ver. 1.7

    - Add Floor Effect That Damage Durability

    Ver. 1.8

    Add Infuse Weapon and Shield with Element

    - Add Upgrade Equipment

    - Add New Stat Called Attunement. 

    Attunement is used to get memory slot which used to learn skill

    - Each Skill Has Memory Slot Required to be learned

    - Each Skill Linked To KeyItem you can get from games

    Make Character can use everything:

  2. Do you have a better explanation? I don't play dark souls and so I don't know how the whole level and stat system in dark souls work...


    Also I don't think that using include on almost all the other classes is really needed, sometimes you don't even use any of the members of the module in the class that you have used include.

    To help people better understand what he is saying...

    Once you gain experience it is banked instead of spent on leveling up. You can then buy your stat points with the experience points, which will also raise your level.

    Example:

    • You are level 1 and kill an enemy that will raise you to level 2.
    • You now have enough experience to level, but since you have not spent it you are still level one.
    • Once you spend your experience on a stat, that stat will go up by 1 and your level will go up by one.
  4. It is a really cool script. I love dark souls and this script is awesome.

    some suggestions:

    1. It would be cool if we could make our own stats to use for the script and customize what the stats effect (like if I wanted to add faith and have it effect hp and magical attack).

    2. Diminishing returns would be cool (that can be customized).

    3. option to only level up only at certain places. (like a bonfire).

    Of course This is the first version I planing even make skills depend on stats also weapon 

    So character can use any weapon and skill if it has the right stat.

  7. To add onto what Shinma said, basically in Dark Souls your EXP gain is a currency gained from killing things. (which are called Souls)  This currency is used to (at a specific amount) buy level ups to increase a stat, or buy items and things from NPC vendors.

    Definitely a great job on the script, it's a great system and Dark Souls is one of the best action RPGs ever.

    With a little extra scripting via existing custom currency scripts, I expect it may be simple for you to possibly expand this script to support such currency scripts? (or at least a popular one) Or make your own currecy script (sub-script) to go along with this one? Just a thought for the sake of "completion".
