  1. Yo. This is where you can look at my art and help me get better.

First up my first WIP back ground. I haven't gone in with the extra colors or details yet. Was told to practice a watercolor look....*Sweat*

    And my first character design.

These are my first attempts and I really want to get better so please help but don't be mean or any thing cause I'm a newbie....
  2. You've captured the watercolor style in the first one decently.   I'm not sure the concept you're going for there though.  It seems a little surrealistic, but then you have the smaller tree as what I can only guess is the main subject.  Then again you said it is a work in progress.

The character one her head is a little out of proportion with the rest of her body to me, but other than that it looks good.

Thanks. It was my first time drawing a back ground and I looked up tuts on how to make digital water color brushes. Yeah I plan to add like these fantastical mushrooms and flowers to it and make it a "magical feel" and do some thing with the middle tree to make it the focus.

I try to draw in my dearest's cartoon style but I don't uh quite get there I think....Her's is much better. I originally started drawing to help her with her cartoon. Here's her's and mine looks nothing like it *Sweat* I'll keep trying.

Thanks man. Compliments mean a lot to me. *Easily discouraged but all so easily encouraged* Heh
  6. I love the unique qualities! It can only be better from here!
  7. I'm loving these drawings. I can't wait to see more. ~following~
  8. Had this on my phone. It was my first attempt at a manga//anime face. ((All so I have access to a tablet now. Getting used to that.))

More coming when I get back on a computer.
  9. This is great for a first attempt at manga/anime! A lot of new artists, I've noticed, try to go straight to the anime style without learning the basics of more realistic art, and it usually looks pretty wonky. It looks like you've been working on the basics of anatomy and proportion first, though.

    Great job!
