Cutscene help?

I'm making a cutscene in my game where your talking to this guy in a bar, then this one guy appears out of nowhere and stuff. What event (or events) will make the guy appear?

Please search, and do some beginner tutorials. This is a VERY basic task and your not having any idea indicates that you haven't gone through any tutorials.

I would also say that as well as using the tutorials, to have a look at the demo game Crysalis.

I played through it (doesn't take look to get through) before I started any sort of work on my game and if I found any things that I especially liked or wanted to know how they had done then I just checked out the maps, events, scripts, etc.
