customizing the message windows

Sorry if it's a stupid question but basically I want to customize the color of the message windows but if I use a color it puts a "lighter" color on the inside of the window, like for example if I make the window black it only makes the outside of the window black while the inside stays dark blue How do I fix this?

Go to database > System
There are some sliders there to customize window tone.
