  1. Hay guys, I recently started a project where all the sprites are a custom size, ort of between xp and vx size. I like the look a lot so I though I would resize the Actor1 sheet from vx ace and see if people find them use full.

If you do then il happily resize the others and post them up as well :)

Let me know your thought .

  2. I have been making different size sprites for one of my games, too. But I say size em all. I would find one or two to be useful. Specifically on sheet 3. the red bandana and a couple of others.
  3. The plan was to se who thinks the sprite size looks good, and if people like them I have a file with all the RTP sprite resized and a few recolors of villagers and other bit and bobs as well that I would upload.

But there's no point uploading it if people aren't going to use them as they don't like the sprites that size. Hence seeing if they do :)
  4. It looks like you didn't do anything else besides stretch them, it's making the pixels look all wonky. I wouldn't say this is useful, anyone with a graphics program could do the same very quickly and without any artistic skill.  I'm thinking seriously about locking this thread.  We don't allow stuff made with a generator, this seems to be a resource in a similar vein.  In fact, now that I'm thinking about it, I believe there was another thread a while back that did the exact same thing, and it got locked too.
  5. if you see this as pointless then feel free to lock it, I was only trying to be helpful :)
  6. Yeah, I know, and I appreciate that you're willing to share your work. If you were to put a little more effort into the transformation I think it would work better and we could keep the thread.  Like, for example, keep the heads the same size and only stretch out the body and clean up any double pixels that are created.
  7. I could do , but I actually like them looking stretched as it goes well with the theme of my game, I think its better to lock the thread as the time it will take me to make the sprite as you suggested I wont have enough time to regularly check the thread.

either way its up to you :)
  8. Okay.  Good luck with your game.
