Custom potion for temp stat change.

  1. So i have been playing around with Rpgmaker and i decided i wanted to create a god mode potion, of a sort. So i made the potion and mae the common event that took all the skill and bumped them all up. i Went into battle used it and it worked great; after the battle the skills were still high. What would i do to lower the skills back to normal. i tried using the counter but it didnt exactly make sense too me. Thanks for your help
  2. Actually, the best (and easiest) way to use this would be to avoid the common event altogether.

    You can have the item inflict a "god mode" STATE, and let the engine handle the rest. :)
  3. how would i go about doing that because doing the common event is mainly all i really now how i would do it
  4. Go to the database and select the States tab, and create a new State. After that, go to the Items tab, and set your items to inflict that states upon use.

    Or you could do them all in a common event and place it on the item call. That makes the function only work when the item is used.
