Critical error upon saving. VXACE (steam)

    I havn't used rpgmaker for a few months now, but now when I work in it, and then save, it crashes with this error:

    I reload, and it appears to have saved my work though.. what is causing this ?

    this means that everytime i save, i have to relaunch rpgmaker.

    A critical error code of C0000005 indicates some condition is causing an Access Violation error. Given the address specified in your screenshot, it is likely that it has to deal with having opted in to the Steam Cloud beta (which has now ceased). You'll want to opt out of this beta and then verify the integrity of your installation to download any changed files from the correct depot and this should solve your problem.

    Steps to take:

    1. Open up Steam and login with your account credentials.
    2. Go into Library > All Software, and then right click on RPG Maker VX Ace.
    3. In the context menu that pops up, select Properties.
    4. When the dialog window titled RPG Maker VX Ace - Properties appears, enter the BETAS tab.
    5. Under Select the beta you would like to opt into:, select either NONE - Opt out of all beta programs or original - Original non Workshop version.
    6. Once this has been done, files should start downloading in the background automatically after a few seconds. If this has occurred, you may skip step 7.
    7. In the properties window we had open, open the LOCAL FILES tab and click on VERIFY INTEGRITY OF APPLICATION CACHE....
    8. Once files have finished downloading, you may open up your copy of RPG Maker VX Ace from Steam and attempt to make changes and then safely save your project.

    Um curious.. Was that a typo?
