Convert Vx project to XP

Hi

my question is simply but the answer may not be: there's an automatic process/software to convert a VX project (rvproj extension) to an XP project (rxproj extension) ?

If not, what I have to do to convert manually an entire project?

Yes it has to be manually converted over, Your going to have to enter all your previous project database items, maps, events etc., in all by hand.

there is a script that helps going forward to Ace, but even that requires a lot of manual entries.


Nothing I know of will help you going backward, so you'll have to enter everything manually into the XP-Editor - from maps to database objects, from events to scripts (and you'll need to find different XP-Scripts doing the same, NO VX-Script will work in XP).


Basically, that is so much work that it'll probably be easier to start from scratch in XP, just retelling the same story instead of copying everything back into it...

Make sure you're very careful when you recreate things in XP and note that not all scripts made for VX have XP versions or substitutes.

It's easy to skip over certain details.
