Controlling passablility of events with multi tile images

  1. I'm working with cars at the moment and was wondering if there was any easy way to make more of a large event impassible.

    In the image below the part in red is where the event is, and it is impassible, but the tiles to the left and right of it are quite passable.

    I've been looking around but haven't found anything except for a script (that wasn't made for VX Ace).

  2. You could add 2 empty events left and right of your car event and set them to same a character. That way they would block the passability.
  3. That's one idea, but the car is in motion, and in the scene there will be quite a few other cars so I was hoping for a script or setting I overlooked, otherwise I'll have a lot of work to do :x
  4. Shaz wrote a script for large events, it's somewhere on this forum. There is also Enelvon's Enhanced Event script that could be used for this.
  5. Yeah, I posted it here, then I deleted it again when the OP said the vehicles were moving. The version I had is good for large stationary events, to stop things walking into them, but not for things that are moving. I did some tweaking, but there are still issues with triggering events from further away than the next tile.
