I suddenly started getting the the following error frequently:
WebGL: CONTEXT_LOST_WEBGL: loseContext: context lost
My current project just crashes all the time. Even with a fresh new project, I managed to replicate the error by pressing F9 about 10-20 times in a row.
I haven't changed anything. The only thing I can think of is the Windows 10 Anniversary update that installed on my computer last night, but that can't be related, can it? Anyone knows what could be causing this?
Thank you in advance.
PS: I found elsewhere that it could be a memory issue, but I have 16GB of RAM.

I just rolled back the Windows 10 Anniversary update, and the problem is gone. So it looks like the new update breaks RPG Maker MV.
-
This seems to be related with video cards. It's not RPG Maker MV per se.

Everything worked pretty much flawlessly for months. I haven't made any changes to the video card or drivers or RPG Maker MV or anything on my system. The only thing that changed was the Windows 10 Anniversary update, and after rolling back, everything works perfectly like before. The Anniversary update definitely messed something up, and it could be a video card related change that they did. -

We have received numerous reports of video cards breaking on the latest Win10 update. So that's definitely it haha -
I have this anniversary update since many weeks and no problem with MV so far.
(the only pb I have with this update is about text on icons that is justified on the left instead of being centered like on desktop icons, but that's another story and "they" are working on a fix)
Maybe my Nvidia GPU got lucky somehow, I don't even have the latest drivers yet.
I searched for this win10anniversary issue after reading a post from @Galv and being worried, let's hope everything will be fixed soon. -

I wonder if it's a mobile gpu issue, as I noticed in the previous topic that people with a laptop have the problem (including myself), or maybe you don't have the latest "anniversary update" yet? -
No it's a desktop GPU (GTX serie from nVidia), and the driver is probably the "previous" one from last month or something.
This windows anniversary update got itself on my computer since a pretty long time (even before MV1.3 if I remember well) and no problem with it so far. I even already tried the "menu spamming" thing and going into a big amount of "map-teleportations" to see if the memory leak problem was still here with PIXI4/MV1.3.1.
(for information, memory leak seems to still be here but somehow when the memory is full there is some kind of "stabilization" and the game doesn't crash anymore, at least on my rig and without insisting too much)
Now you say that, maybe Galv has a mobile nVidia GPU (one of the "M" serie), I don't have any of these cards to try unfortunately, but I hope you guys will have the fix you need.
