Hello, I'm a little confused about what RPG Maker DS is.
(I have a few questions)
1. I've been searching around google and from what I've read, RPGDS hasn't made way to the US yet. Is this true? Is there any news of a release date?
2. I think I heard somewhere that a VX project can be transferred into RPGDS. Is this true or false?
3. Since the US release isn't here yet. Do you think they'll make a RPG Maker 3DS?

There are two different Products called "RPG Maker DS".
The program is for the nintendo DS and it hasn't been translated and isn't available (or mentioned) here on this site.
What is called "RPG Maker DS Pack" on this site is a resource pack containing variants of the pictures and resources used in the Nintendo-Version, but formatted to be used by RPG Maker VX and VX Ace. That is NOT a full program and is not usable by the Nintendo DS at all.
This should clear up your confusing, and make it clear that the answer to Q2 is "false", it's a misinterpretation between to different prodicts. -
1. Don't know Thought it was in US but I don't own a NINTENDO DS.
2. VX project can be transferred to RPG Maker VX Ace and then can be changed into DS style by purchasing the DS and DS+ resource packs.
3. Doubtful but one can hope.
*RPG Maker Web and the staff here have nothing to do with Console versions of RPG Maker at the time of this posting.
btw happy Memorial Day. -
1. Correct, most console RPG makers don't even see light on the western shores. (Exceptions to things like PS2) This is why their is a resource pack for VX/Ace.
There will probably never be a US release date considering the fact the game is several years old, and relied on internet connection to share games (Nintendo cut their internet connections to all DS games last week)
2. There was never really a way to connect a computer to a DS, that being said I doubt rpg maker DS was even programmed using Ruby like the computer counterparts. So False
3. I asked this about a year back. It's totally possible, but even if their is one it will most likely never be localize like DS or DS+
