Class System and Skill Possibility Questions

  1. Hi everyone - I'm new to using RPG Maker VX Ace, and I have a few questions to see if what I want to do is possible before I delve too deeply.

    1) I've created a job system similar to that in Final Fantasy Tactics/Tactics Advance, for those familiar. Is the concept of having both a character level and individual job levels, as well as the idea of switching jobs outside of battle, something that is possible to create within the program?

    2) One class that I've created, as well as several skills from other classes, have effects that rely on what skill was used before it; IE, Bracing Cleave deals more damage and has a stun chance if the skill Arcane Strike was used before it. Is there a way to tell the system that the character in question has used X skill last turn, possibly by use of an "invisible" state on the character's list of statuses or states?
  2. Thank you very much - that is precisely the type of information I was looking for on both counts. So far, this system looks really nice, and those were my two biggest concerns to deal with before I really started playing around with my trial time. I did have one final question, though. Given the above, are there any scripts or ways to do custom statistic setups, outside of the base 8 that are built into RPG Maker (HP, MP, Attack, Defense, Magic Attack, Magic Defense, Agility, Luck)?
  3. Once again, thank you - I'll have to play with that one a bit and see if I can make it do what I wish. Two other questions came up while I was examining my own system, as well.

    1) I may simply be missing something, but how exactly would creating a passive skill work - IE, HP +25%? I've seen the way to create skills that have "Never" as an occasion listing, but I can't seem to get the "+25% HP" part of it to work the way I'd want. If I used a custom state that gave MHP * 125%, that wouldn't stack correctly (multiplicative instead of additive) if they had multiple passives of that type, as far as I'm aware.

    2) My base 8 stats, similar to the ones that come with the base system, are all defined with formulas that interact with the character level. Is there a way to see and/or change how the stats can be determined in the system, outside of using the parameter curves or hard numbers?
