City of Chains, hey now...

So, just sort of unearthing this whole City of Chains thing.

Wow. Refreshing. Departure.

Based on the steam store page and promotional videos as well as some independent play-through videos... I have to say it is incorporating many elements I champion. I'm most likely on some weird eternal quest to capture that first Fallout vibe or the Spellbound games I romanticize over (probably why I always second guess my RM choice as the vehicle to my nirvana) and man when I discovered this title I couldn't wipe the smile.

Anyone recall if it (even any part of it) was done by anyone from within this community, or is "Astronomic" larger outside outfit?

Its one of Matseb2611's games. https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/city-of-chains.40537/. He is a fairly longtime user on the forums and has also dabbled in resource making for the community before finding success in commercial games. You still see him on here fairly often and he posts his game releases in the commercial games section.
