How do I create a charm state, where the enemy won't attack the caster? There's only one player that can use this skill, so maybe that'll make this easier. Sorry for the lack of information. If you need more, I'll provide it.
Charm state?

Just make a state and on the features go to Param, SP-Parameter then TGR (Target Rate) and change it to 100%.

The enemy still attacked the caster, though. I checked, and it was still under the effect of Charm.

Oh sorry, I mean 0%.

It's still not working.

Unless you use a common event and make a conditional branch that the enemy falls is inflicted by the state charm, that he gets the last target, but that'll only work if there's more than 1 member.

Charm (in the Final Fantasy sense) means the enemy fights for your party, so just create a state and set its restriction to "Attack an Ally" or what the option is called =)

What The JJ describes would be if you used charm on yourself, and then the enemy wouldn't attack that one character..
As I don't have the program in front of me I can go through and look at all the ex-parameters and sp-parameters to find if what you want can be accomplished right now.
As I understand it, it can be accomplished if it was only one monster you were fighting, but not a group as it would affect your character, so all the other monsters in the troop wouldn't attack that character either. There may be another thing you can change to affect the monster only and who it would aim for, but to my knowledge nothing comes to mind.. I apologize I couldn't be of more help.
Just in case.. TGR (Target Rate) is how often they are targeted (obviously), so if you set it so your character gets the state of 0% TGR then they would never be targeted.
