  1. hello there

when i installed the program everything was in german. currently im translating everything and im almost done but i cant find where to change the text for appearing enemies or actions in battle. i checked everything in troops terms and enemies but i cant seem to find anything :/

    can anybody help me please?

edit: after some hours of searching i found the stuff in the script section of "vocab".
  2. What program and why it comes with German language?  Does there a VXAce with German version?
Yeah in the Vocab section you can edit those text in battle as well another text. Just retain this thing %s and you're pretty much fine.
  3. @BoluBolu - Ace 1.02 supports a few different languages... Not sure if it's based on the location when you downloaded it or something though...
  4. Something is still strange. I pasted the english vocab and deleted the german one. When characters or enemies execute a skill attack or magic it writes the action in german. When a character takes damage it is in english.

Is the action part not in vocab?
  5. The action should be dependent on the skill name you wrote on the Skills tab
  6. Thats not what i mean. I changed the skill name but when i use it it says "x spuckt feuer" instead of breathes fire. I did change the name of the skill from feuer hauch to fire breath.

On the other hand when i take damage, the sentenceis in english.
  7. Maybe the engine converts it somehow to german on the fly... I can't say for sure as what I have is the english version...
  8. The multilanguage version automatically switches to the current windows language if that language is supported - the steam version allows you to select the language, the standalone requires you to rename the DLLs to trick the program into another language.

All ingame messages are either in the database or in the vocab script - the skill action messages are in the database, NOT in the vocab.

If you still have the german GUI that is in the tab "Fähigkeiten" in the area "Meldung bei Einsatz" (middle colum, middle area of that database page)
